Smash Daddy's — Restaurant in Hartford

Tried them for the first time 10/22/25 and the restaurant was filthy, freezing, had no music playing and there was absolutely no atmosphere. I ordered a burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, and raw onions with a side of fries. When my food came, the "cheddar cheese" was a shredded cheese blend that looks like it was bought from the store, a handful of onions, and no lettuce on a luke warm burger at best. When I asked for my lettuce they seemed inconvenienced and gave me two little pieces that were wilted and brown. No flavor to the meat at all. 1). My experience at this establishment was sub par. Their signature “Smash Daddy” burger was JUST MEDIOCRE; the onion rings on the burger were completely burnt to a crisp basically black in color. When the chef was asked about the burnt onion rings; he said that they were purposely burnt, “that’s how it comes”. 2). The other issue is: Items are way overpriced.
