A buddy of mine has been talking about this place since he used to live in NC, so as a late night (after race) meal we went. We both ordered the small burger tray, I had mine with fries and hush puppies and she had her with the walking taco and hush puppies. I also ordered a dog with chili, cheese and mustard on it and we both got Cherry Cheerwines. I ordered my burger "cook out" style and it came out "out west" style, that was the only issue with the food...but it was very good. My gf ordered her burger "cheddar style" and she really liked it as well. The reason the 2 stars for atmosphere was that there were homeless belongings i spots in the parking lot and there was a homeless woman in the dining area, walking around it with her bags and wearing what looked like an industrial canister mask. The price we thought was very reasonable as well, which means that we would definitely eat at a Cookout again when we come back in May.

This is the first time visiting this fast food restaurant. So, due to the covid 19 they had a walk up window and they are still taking orders at the drive thru. The food is so so. I ordered a burger with fries, chicken nuggets and a shake. I also order a burger with lettuce, bacon and cheese, hush puppies, french fries and Strawberry shake. They actually got the order wrong which was disappointing. The milkshakes are too thick and the fries have too much flavor on them. I will not be returning but if your interested in trying this restaurant out, you should do so.

Posting this pulling out of the Cookout parking lot because Kenlee does not need to be the face people see/hear for their experience. This is not the first time we’ve seen her act out of character at the drive thru window. She was beating her fist, cussing, & acting unprofessional because her customer was not ordering fast enough— not knowing if that customer had a disability and was unable to order quickly. Inconsiderate on her part! Please take care of this.

I went through at 10:30 p.m. Apparently there Grill was down, so no burgers and no grilled anything. Opted for fried foods, corn dog, onion rings excetera. Ordered a milkshake as well. Had to drive back through the drive-thru three times. First time, was because they added a order of seasoned fries I did not order.. A second time was because they did not give me any honey mustard or sweet and sour sauce like I had ordered. And third time, was because I realized when pulling out that they also didn't give me a straw, spoon, or napkins for the milkshake. I'm very concerned for their employees capability to work in the hospitality food and beverage field. The lady at the window was very sweet, but having to drive through 3 times four basic items that i asumed to be a no-brainer common knowledge is ridiculous. The only reason I will go back ther is for the milkshake. It's a very...

Sorry service. Got my wife's order wrong. Initially told us they needed our receipt and the box but ended up just needing our receipt. Guess they didn't want us to fully prove we weren't lying. When we told them, the cook started arguing that he put the item in our box. After they said the item would be fix and given to us we sat down. After about 15 minutes I went back to the counter and asked were the missing item was. Apparently, the cook wanted to avoid working and still didn't cook the item. However, he had plenty of time to argue about it during round two. After pushing for what we paid for, they gave us 3 very very over cooked chicken nuggets. They were not busy this whole time. While the food may have been okay (minus the charcoal chicken nuggets) we will never come back to this sorry excuse for a food...
