Winn Buffet — Restaurant in Hartsville

The absolute worst Asian food that I have ever had the displeasure of tasting . My other senses were also equally as shocked. The food and cheap presentation were all equally disgusting.

Every course was made as cheaply as possible and the crab meat was %100 imitation most likely purchased from the nearby dollar store....

The flavours of the sauces were bland and almost putrid, even the meat they alleged was chicken was unidentifiable as any chicken I had ever seen .

Noticing that I barely ate anything the hostess had asked if everything was ok, I politely voiced my concerns that the meal was basically inedible and as I had predicted she had no response and obviously had not a care for customer concerns....

In retrospect the fact there was only a handful of people choking their food down on what should of been a very busy day for any restaurant should of had been a cue to run out the door....

In conclusion you could probably do better eating from the garbage can at your local bus stop.....

The server was fantastic but the owner and short-haired, older lady were just as rude as could be. The food all tasted the same-- like it was all cooked in the same rancid grease pot where no one dish was distinguishable from another. The sweet and sour sauce was as thin as water and scattered as such on the plate. The ranch dressing tasted like straight mayo and no one at my table could identify it as ranch dressing. My elderly mother-in-law retrieved a salad and a half plate of food but began feeling ill before actually eating. I kindly asked the owner for a box, after describing what had happened, and she tried to charge me another $14 plus tax for the box (on top of the $14 plus tax for the food that had not been eaten). Terrible customer service! Terrible food! When I mentioned that we would not be back, her short-haired minion laughed and said, "we don't lose customers, we 'Winn' them." It's no wonder they HAD to name it that--- greasy, hole-in-the-wall, money-grubbers had apparently...

I went when they first opened, And the food on the buffet was cold. The taste was average like any other Chinese buffet but the fact that they had just open and the food was chilled cold was unacceptable.

I spoke with management she said well it was because I came when they 1st open and they were waiting for the steam to really cook or heat up the food. I said OK I ate my meal by The time I decided to go for seconds the food was still cold like they just took it out of the refrigerator and put it on the buffet it wasn't even lukewarm.

I mentioned it again at check out all she did was smile apologize in charge me full price. Everyone was extremely friendly but I didn't go there to make friends I went there to eat I give it 5 stars for friendliness In one star...
