This place was AWESOME. I don’t know what the 1 star reviews are about. One was about parking - it’s a busy boulevard, what did you expect? Another bad review was about “cafeteria food, or caters to children” This is far from what this place is. This was mine and my wife’s first time here and I gotta say we were blown away.

We got the hot dogs and the underdog sandwich.

The hot dogs were perfect, onions home cooked, nice thin dog and not too much bun though one review said it was too much (I don’t know maybe just take some bun off then if that’s your preference) for us, the ratio was perfect. My wife has been looking for this kind of hot dog for a long time. She used to get these types of hot dogs when she was a kid with her father and could never quite find the right one. This brought her right back to her childhood and special moments with her father. He would’ve loved this place and we would be taking him here if he were still with us

As soon as I set foot (no pun intended) in this hot dog restaurant, I was warmly welcomed by Angelo and Danielle. I already knew was about to be in for a treat!

And the iconic hot dogs were out of this world! Each of their toppings are freshly made in-house. You can choose Sabrett or Thumann’s and it’s your call if you want them prepared in dirty water, grilled, or deep fried.

Regardless of which ever dog you choose, you won’t be disappointed!

Aside from a cool old fashioned all-American glizzy, I also doubled my desire with a double smash burger. The freshly made sirloin patty melted right in my mouth!

Between excellent food with really friendly service, I felt right at home. Angelo and Danielle definitely hit one right out of the ball park (again, no pun intended)!

About my 20th time here. Angelo makes my special go to every time now. That's dog #1.

1. air fried sabretts with angelo's special relish, cheese, cooked red onions. When i tell you the flavor profile of this dog is out of this world, like nothing you've ever tried, im not kidding. Ask for "Chris's Special Sabrett" directly to Angelo himself when you arrive and prepare to be blown away!!! 5/5

2. deep fried thumanns pork and beef all the wayyyy! Ask for "All the Wayyy" with three y's to get the classic texas weiner that put Jersey hot dog joints on the map! Toppings include a line of brown mustard, Angelo's home made chili, and diced onions. 5/5

3. cheese steak without onions or peppers - for my son. Excellent! When you come for a cheese steak, make sure you come on a Thursday, but ask if he has any of that special pizza bread. You wont regret it! Those will be posted on another visit review.
