Came here on their grand opening day to try them out - they were serving single cheeseburgers with fries only, so this is my review of that.
The burger was okay; I felt it was a bit dry and a little too heavily seasoned. Not worth going out of your way for. The fries weren't very good, greasy, a bit bland, and a bit soft. Maybe it's the type of oil or the amount of time they were in the fryer, I don't know.
Looking at the menu, there was a notable lack of bacon burgers, which I found disappointing. The rest of the menu had some interesting sandwich options that seem worth trying.
The atmosphere was nice, very reminiscent of typical fast casual restaurants. Comfortable. No complaints here.
I'll give the place a second try and update this if the quality improves, which I feel it might, due to how fast they had to crank burgers out today. Still glad to see a new restaurant in town and am glad to read that other...
Read moreThe staff was courteous and the service was fast. It's very orange inside(I get it, heights colors, blah blah blah), however that has nothing to do with the food. The burger was ok, I got the heights bacon egg, you can definitely tell it was turkey bacon. I don't hate turkey bacon, but it's not bacon. The burgers are smash burgers, which is all the rage currently, but they are all well done. Can't do medium with a quarter inch of meat. That's fine, but I like my burger the way I like my women. A little thick. The fries taste like preseasoned frozen fries, not what I want from a burger joint. I can do better at home. I'll go back to try another burger, but I'll skip the fries and maybe get one of their shakes. We'll see. I do suggest you try the place for yourself. I'm just some dude that...
Read moreFinally got to try Burger Heights and I’m really happy about this new addition to the neighborhood. We had the classic chopped cheese, Heights triple (smashed burger with three patties), and fries. The chopped cheese was good but the only thing I would change is the bread. It’s very bready and tastes like those thick hoagies they sell at BJ’s that are dry. The burger was great and reasonably priced. Quality is comparable to Shake Shack except Burger Heights is even cheaper! Lastly, I loved the fries. They’re battered and I am a sucker for battered fries.
Might have found my new go-to greasy food place. I’ll have to try some of their other burgers next time and the Philly...
