Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Hastings

Normally I am pretty happy with this place, however this is the 3rd time I have gotten a pizza made incorrectly because it was missing toppings. Today it especially bothered me. I am pregnant and have very specific cravings. I orders a Deluxe pizza and added olives and extra cheese to it. When my pizza arrived it was missing 3 of the STANDARD toppings for a Deluxe - green peppers, onions, and sausage. I called and they we quick to correct the issues by making a new pizza and delivering it right away. I was very happy with this because I was almost on the break of tears not seeing my sausage on it (pregnancy hormones are no joke). When they deliver the second pizza it once again was missing my sausage. I don't understand why after a mistake they would not be super careful in double checking that the correction would not have a mistake on it again. More so, it is a standard topping on one of their menu pizzas... It's not like I was missing the extra cheese or olives... no the sausage.. A topping that is part of the original recipe of the pizza that they should have memorized. It's also a big deal that it is a meat. Meat is what makes a pizza for someone who likes pizza. Veggies are a tasty compliment. I am very upset about this but don't want to be that person and call for a second time asking for a correction... I'm pregnant and hungry. I am eating the pizza without the sausage, but I am still crying... Like I said pregnancy hormones are no joke. I am normally more than understanding, but when you are bringing someone a correction for a mistake please double and triple check you actually do it right the second...

This happened 4-6-22, at about 10:30 pm, I just called, was on hold for 4 and a half minutes till the manager (assumingly),and wanted to let the manager know that the delivery driver didn't knock or ring our door bell, the pizza was on the bottom of the stack of the stuff we ordered, the manager flew off the handle and had an attitude with me immediately, I didn't have any attitude with him at all either on my side, I was as respectful as I could be, he jumped to the assumption that I wanted him to send me another order for free, he hung up on me before I could even explain that, that's not what I wanted, I wasn't calling to get free food, I wanted to let him know that his driver didn't alert us that they had arrived with our food, now we suspect the food to be tampered with when it gets here, I'm tipping the driver $6 cash either way, and telling them to not tell the boss about it, he said snapingly that "I'll have a new order to you in 40 minutes", we'll see if that really happened, the door.will be open, we're waiting, the first driver was seen on my home security camera system just dropping off the boxes and walking away without even reaching towards the door to let us know it was here, we're calling corporate tomorrow morning, this has never happened before when we have ordered from this domino's in the past 8 years of doing...

2023- Said they left with my order at 1046pm... I live across the street and a block up, it's now 1055pm... Where's my za! I'd have come myself but it's raining, cold and I didn't want to load the kids!

Additional review after the fact: I just ordered the 7.99 deal for a 3 topping pizza and a parm twists with "dip" ...

DONT ORDER THIS! ITS A 1/16TH OF AN INCH CHEESE CRUSTY... THEY HAVE IT IN A 6" ROUND TIN TRAY AND YOU CANT DIP ANYTHING! ITS HORRENDOUS!!!!!! I WILL POST PICS. PUT IT IN A SMALLER, SAY 3" TRAY SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY DIP AND IT DOESN'T BURN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TIN!

Update: 3/4/25 - Rae is awesome and wholesome. My family loves the fact that you put so much effort into correcting someone else’s screw up and the guy that answered the phone (sorry I didn’t catch your name) deserves a standing ovation as well as Rae. I found out I have some serious health issues today, wasted half a day trying to find the parts I need to fix a plumbing issue at home as well as went to look at a vehicle in this weather that they thought they could hide a major oil leak and missing mirrors and brake lights etc…. I just wanted a quick and easy dinner so I could breathe and Rae made us smile and the guy on the phone made me feel important. I’m giving you back 3 stars and...
