Love the food and the coffee here! The lotus drinks are delicious too. The baristas are awesome and are always very kind. However, I came to get a coffee and to study with a friend, and the power went out. We waited a second to see if the power was going to come back on, and when it didn’t, we began to gather our stuff and pack up. The owner then came into the store and glanced at us and said he was going to have to ask us to leave and said that we couldn’t be there, and proceeded to turn to his employee and told her to lock the door as soon as we left. The coffee was delicious according to my daughter. I don't drink coffee, but the lotus teas are absolutely worth the time and effort to go to Magnolia Coffee for. The cookies were some of the best I've had and I'm a fan of Crumbl cookies. These were far superior in my opinion. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Especially when I had questions about ingredients for the lotus drinks. We were not rushed and were made to feel at ease the entire time we were in the store. The staff was friendly and accommodating when I asked about 100% sugar-free options for Lotus drinks, and they can make some great ones! Note that some Lotus drinks are “lower sugar” rather than fully sugar-free, as they combine sugar-free and regular blends—be sure to clarify when ordering.
