Food is good, but the customer service was atrocious. It started when I tried to call in my order...I was placed on hold (phone was placed on the counter) and after ten minutes of hearing people order & walk in and out (ding), I decided to hang up and just drive there (just a 5 min drive). In the middle of placing my order the young girl answered the phone & started ringing up the phone order (she didn't put them on terminal hold!). Then the second girl, also young, looked past me and started taking the order of the customer behind me. When I commented that I hadn't placed my order, she said "oh we're busy". After ringing up the other customer, it finally appeared that I would be able to place my order. I have a family of 5 and after I placed 2 of the orders, the girl decided I did not need anything else and gave me my total. When I said I wasn't finished, she seemed to be bothered that I wasn't done. Usually I would not be this patient, but this was the worst experience I have ever had, and wanted to see how bad it could get, and it continued...After taking my order, I waited the usual amount of time (that's why I like calling ahead), so nothing unexpected there. However, when I received my order, you guessed it, it was incomplete; missing one of my combos. Of course I checked while I was still there, but had to wait the usual amount of time again, just to get everything I ordered. My advice to the owner: if your restaurant gets this busy, hire competent staff, two taking orders, one answering the phone and don't change...
Read moreOkay- I am not usually one to complain. Tonight, me and my boyfriend decided to place an order- I called at 9:07 so it wasn’t near closing time. They had plenty of time to perfect our order, but instead, it was anything but. My boyfriend got the pepper chicken, and after the first few bites, he said it tasted old and it was dry. I also hadn’t been a fan of what I had tasted so far, but the reason I am leaving this review, is because of what was found in the shrimp fried rice. Half of a rubber band. How does that even happen? I have worked in food before so I have a lot of grace for the food service industry, but this was absolutely unacceptable. Although the food was hot, and there was decent customer service over the phone, this killed any positive comment I could make. Finding a hair in food is already nasty enough, but a rubber band? That is insane to me. I do not recommend this location at all. I saw there was another location in Purvis, so we will be trying them the next time we want “Best” Wok, but honestly, I plan on staying far away from this business and any associated with it. As I am typing this, my stomach has started to hurt, and again, I didn’t even get halfway through my meal. After the rubber band discovery, I definitely lost...
Read moreFirst impression upon walking in, was it felt like the old Chinese restaurant you see in Jackie Chan movies!! It’s quiet and empty. There are only 2 people working there. The lady working the front counter was rude. She primarily stayed behind the counter. I asked her, “do we seat ourselves”. She pointed and said, “yes”. We sat down and waited on service that never came. After watching several customers come in and go straight to the counter, we finally get up and order at the window. We placed our order and paid for everything, got our bottle drinks, and sat down. The food was prepared freshly. It was good. Large portions of food. I won’t be back because of poor and lack of service. I’d rather eat at Pei Wei’s...
