Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hattiesburg

The food tasted great when it finally arrived. My family tried the lunch buffet which opens at 11AM according to their sign by the road. The restaurant opens at 10AM and when we got there at 10:55AM the doors were locked, I had to call the store to get them to open the door. We were told the buffet would be open in a few minutes and were served drinks and a salad, both good. The first item got to the buffet 30 minutes later... We never were offered a refill on our drink... The staff were less than helpful and I had to go to them to get updates on the food.

Upon checking out I asked for a discount for the poor service and was treated rudely, as if I had made them wait 30 minutes to eat a buffet... When I questioned that I was told the pizza had to be cooked before being served, I pointed to the 11AM sign. I was asked if I would like to speak to the manager, "yes, please". No manager shows up. The same employee returns, tries to plug in a discount on her terminal and ultimately says, "just go, no charge". I told her I didn't have a problem paying for the food we eat, just not the service. She again rudely said, "No it's fine, just go".

I ordered a pizza here that should've arrived at 9:16pm and at 9:34 I called to see why they were late. I was told by the team member that the manager said that there wouldn't be any accommodation for them only having one driver. I live 5 minutes from store but didn't get driver at my door until 9:42pm, of course I sent her back with pizza, sad cause I actually tip good even if service was crap so you cheated your employee out of a tip. I called the store to speak with manager at 9:44pm and the team member put me on hold, when I did get her she stated manager was busy. When I asked who the owner of store was all of a sudden the manager was available and when addressed on what she told us over phone, she blatantly lied and stated she never spoke to anyone. So from here on out I refuse to order out ever again if I can help it. This store plus many others in this town have a service and people skills problem. Do not waste your money or time at a place like this ever, cook instead cause your convenience of trying to help someone have a job is not...

This location is usually a good experience or really bad experience for us, after this last attempt I will be calling Corporate. After we waited in the waiting area for 15 min we were told to seat ourselves which wasnt so bad but after an hour waiting with no drinks, no menus and 6 starving kids we knew it was a problem. Then when we tried to order their special that was advertised in front of the building they said that's not valid anymore. We asked for a manager and she gave us total attitude acting like our money wasnt good enough, walked off and ignored me in the middle of the conversation. Other groups were also angry for horrible service and warned people as they were coming in. The manager (Kim she yelled) should not be a manager at all and this location should be inspected.
