Jimmy K's Diner — Restaurant in Haverhill

Our breakfast experience today was outstanding. First time going to Jimmy’s. Normally we go to Mary Ann’s in Salem. This will be our new go to for sure!! We only waited 20 minutes which wasn’t bad of a wait concidering it was a Saturday during rush hour. The server was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed and then some. The food was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next weekend and trying more of their options. I wish I had remembered the servers name because she was absolutely outstanding.

We got our twin toddlers, kids meal cheese omelette, and the Mickey Mouse pancakes, which they loved and not only that the portions were huge! Also got a side of a fruit bowl for the twins while they waited for the main meal. I got the make your own omelette, which was American cheese, peppers, and onions with sourdough and hash brown. The eggs were super fluffy and it was stuffed with tons of veggies. My husband got the apple fritter pancakes, which was a special and a side of scrambled eggs and bacon. When all the food came out except my husband, the server took out a mini version of what he ordered since the kitchen forgot to make his and she did not want him to wait while we were all eating. I was so impressed with her customer service. We didn’t even think it was a big deal that the kitchen forgot his meal since they were working on it, especially since they were super slammed. We will be back 20/20...

Greeter was polite. I expected a wait due to being a weekend. We were seated outside. After being seated we asked for two coffees. We received them 15 minutes later. She was asked to bring cream. ( Only two on table) we never received them. After 25 minutes she came back to take our order. We ordered a additional beverage. We asked for a refill of coffee and the cream that never came the first time. We were served food and still no coffee or the additional drink. When she delivered the food we reminded her about the drinks and she replied my hands were filled. I ordered egg white omelet asked it to be cooked well ( brown) . It was not. My bf omelet was great but he had onions in his home fries. ( We could of asked and they didn't say anything) His toast was not brown. Thank ful to the couple sitting across from us sharing cream. I've been to this place 5 times, and sat at the bar 5 times, and ordered the same order 4 times. The 5th time I sat at the bar and a woman grabbed me a coffee and said someone would be right with me. Few minutes turned into 5 then into 10 and the whole time waitresses are walking by side eyeing me, but none approaching me. The bar is not far from the food window and I over heard a waitress talking to the others by the food window, and she said "yippee we get to split a tip for an order of banana chocolate chip pan cakes" and wouldn't you know that was the only thing I've ever ordered from here. After hearing that I just wanted to pay for my coffee and leave, but 5 more minutes went by and nobody approached. Once I stood up I was then approached by a waitress and she asked if everything was alright? I went so far as to say I hadn't been approached for 15 minutes. She said they could make my breakfest quickly but I had lost my appetite. I don't want to go where I'm not wanted so I...
