So I have been here before and it’s been good if you sit down and dine. I got take out last night and I was extremely disappointed to the point where I wish I would have called and just brought everything back, and got a refund of $68 for a total of 4 items. I got the antipasto dish and as you can see in the photo it was possibly the WORST and most overly priced food item I have ever paid for. This thing was almost $15 and this is what I get?! Like come on you’re supposed to be an Italian restaurant. Then my son got the mussels which included about 5 closed mussels he couldn’t eat. The chicken crochets were more vegetable than chicken, and the Greek salad was basically a normal iceberg with a few very small pieces of feta cheese. It was terrible. But the fact that I’m pregnant and was starving I ate the stuff because I wasn’t driving 20 minutes back. Needless to say I won’t be returning there and I suggest if you want to eat here you either dine in or make sure your ready to over pay for mediocre food. I really thought it would be better because I know it’s authentic and you would think for the prices the food would be better.

A group of 5 mom friends with a total of 14 kids (ages 7 to 16) were vacationing together and wanted to go out for dinner. We called around to see who could accommodate all 19 of us and this was the only restaurant that could. We figured beggars can't be choosers and were expecting decent food but nothing out of the ordinary. Well, we hit the jackpot! All the food was amazing, so flavorful with generous portion sizes. Several of the people in our party were gluten free and this restaurant offers GF pizza and pasta. I'm used to having very limited GF selections but they have a whole GF menu. (The GF penne crostacie was exquisite!) The service was also amazing. They set us up in the back room and despite the size of our party, they got all the drink and food orders out with minimal confusion. Our server was actually Italian and had our kids saying "grazie" by the end of the meal. Since we have an annual tradition of camping in the area every summer, we will definitely be going back.

My wife & I stopped at Havre de Grace to take a break between Philadelphia & Washington, DC. We chose to eat at La Cucina because it looked like a Mom & Pop/local place & the menu looked good. When we sat down I heard a couple sitting in the back booth speaking Italian and Italian soccer was playing on a tv. (The sound volume was low enough that it did not disturb us.). My wife asked our server what she recommended and we ordered that - seafood-filled croquettes with a pesto-cream sauce, a spare rib & gnocchi with a thin-ish red sauce, & shrimp over pasta with asparagus. The sauces were delicious. The shrimp was some of the best I have ever eaten. We finished by taking 2 slices of cake home with us: Cannelloni cake and a dark chocolate cake. The cannelloni cake was a beautiful surprise. The cannelloni filling was served as the cake's icing. The dark chocolate cake was delightful.

FABULOUS RESTAURANT!!! Our new favorite place to go and it is an hour away. This is a family owned business and the family was so friendly and inviting. We had Rosanna as our waitress and she was the best, stayed on top of everything we needed and a pleasant, friendly and fun attitude. The meal was OUTRAGEOUS !! We had seafood Fra Davolo and it was out of this world!! We can't wait to go back and try something else (we even took lasagna to go ). Great job -great meeting you and you have a very clean restaurant!! These pics are the actual meal !!! 2/17/2021 Just went back for Valentines Day and again had a great experience. They are the definition of customer service. They remembered who we were, even with our masks and thanked us for the previous review!! NO THANK YOU FOR GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!!!!!

Came here for Valentines dinner. Place was crowded with very little social distancing. Ordered white pizza, which was delicious, scrimp scampi which consisted of a plate of watery noodles with 6 shrimp. Not much flavor at all. Waitress was pleasant, but about halfway through our meal a cockroach showed up. crawling along the ledge. We discreetly signaled to a waitress, who quickly snatched him up in a napkin and wisked him away. Another lady ( I'm guessing an owner) came over to oplogize explaining that they have exterminators monthly , and it was most likely customers bringing the roaches in. The waitress then brings a slice of cake as an apology and hands us our bill. We won't be coming back here, as I feel like the whole experience wasn't handled professionally at all.

I recently stopped here for lunch while visiting my hometown. I had not eaten here in many years. Some things never change and that's a good thing. Traditional Italian casual restaurant consistently serving. I'm a southerner now, so stay away from the iced tea it's not what you think. I asked for a pizza sub that wasn't on the menu and they made it for me! Subs are huge!!! Support this lovely business.
