Les Petits Bisous — Restaurant in Havre de Grace

I went yesterday for the first time and will be back for sure. Me and my husband were very well attended! The person who attended us was wearing a mask! The place was very clean and organized. I was really impressed because she was concerned about serving us well and asked if we were allergic to anything and that was very kind. She didn't just want to sell but was concerned about our well being. I saw some things in the store but I was unsure if they were decoration or for sale. POSITIVE POINTS: clean place, excellent service. She explained about each flavor of the macaroons. I bought one of each flavor. When flavored, they are delicate and really very tasty. There was a freshness and softness. I've eaten a lot of macaroons and these have become my favorites. My husband who doesn't like sweets loved the raspberry ones. I would like options with coffee because we also enjoy a lot of cappuccino and coffee. Negative point: Hours on the weekend are very short. I waited for the store to open at 12 pm and ended up visiting other places and when I realized it was time for the store to close at 3 pm. It would be a good weekend to be from 11 am to 4 pm. Suddenly some tables and a coffee with cream to accompany the macaroons. I will be back and would like to try eclairs and maybe a Strawberry Napoleon. We live in another city but we go almost every weekend in Havre de Grace and this will be a great meeting place for friends. I loved the flavors, I loved the store and the service. I was not a macaron person. Honestly, I had only had them one time in P.A. and I really really did not like them at all. Today I decided to go here with a friend. My intention was to get an eclair. However, I was discussing my P.A. experience with the wonderful young ladies that work here. They talked me into giving the macarons a try. I was extremely surprised! They are absolutely magnificent! The flavors of each are exactly what they are named. The texture of these were gorgeous. I gave one to my husband to try, who is also not a macaron person and he even loved them. I highly recommend this beautiful shop. The owner, the workers, their bakes ... All give you a special experience. We will absolutely be back. Emily made all the desserts for our wedding in June 2021 and they were so incredible I’ve struggled to find the right words. She worked with us to develop custom flavors and offerings, and then she came to the venue the day of our wedding to set up the most lovely dessert table. It took our breath away! Our guests danced their way over to the desserts all throughout the night and munched on macarons and eclairs. We’re so thankful our wedding coordinator pulled a plate of desserts aside for us — and Emily thoughtfully gifted us a sweet box of deserts too — because there wasn’t a single macaron or eclair leftover at the end of the night.
