Ae’s Sassy Tacos — Restaurant in Hawaii

I ordered Nachos from here and the lady didn’t ask for my name. She then proceeds to give my food to another Asian person (who looks absolutely nothing like me by the way ) she gives out 2 more orders for people who have ordered after me so I ask if my food was done ? She says I gave it to you already. I said no you didn’t and you never even got my name , why is that when you’ve gotten the name for everyone else ? She says that dude “stole “ my food and she does end up remaking my food after what seems to be an hour. That was before asking me why I didn’t come up when she gave my food to the other guy or say anything. As if I was supposed to know it was my food , like are you stupid ? It’s not my fault you’re too incapable of taking an order correctly; assuming 2 Asians are the same person and not having enough brain capacity to take someone’s name like you have been with everyone else. It was honestly embarrassing service and to think the food was terrible at that. Not to mention a little boy in the back chopping lettuce with very clearly dirty hands. Just a very bad experience overall and would highly recommend going absolutely anywhere, but here for some good food. There are plenty of amazing local spots with good hospitality and people who aren’t racist , that have the Hawaiian way and treat people with respect and kindness. Overall great tacos but I left just wanting more. Quesadilla was fairly basic. Although I respect this is Hana, portion sizes are extremely small for the price and service took a while for what should have been a basic order. Ended up going to the sit down restaurant across the street after as we left hungry.

A suggested improvement would be to make the base level amount of tacos 3 and work the price around that (currently ~$18 for 2 small tacos). Patrons should never leave a food truck feeling hungry after...

I love the tacos here. The chips are usually really burnt when the white lady makes my plate.
