McDonald's — Restaurant in Hawaii

Gonna be blunt, way better than the downtown McDonalds. The reason why is knock on wood every time I go there they haven’t messed up my order. The dive thru line moves at a good pace and at least the workers aren’t too lazy as to actually reach out with the card reader so I can use my watch to pay with Apple Pay. The only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the curbside ordering. Either they need to make more “available spaces” with numbers or two stop letting people make up their number/ spot. It’s hard to gauge who is at the curbside ordering and how long it might take when people make their own spots and still get served when there are clear signs on what spots are and aren’t curbside ordering parking. If they extended it with more spots that would be fine cause then I can look and see a “open spot” rather than seeing someone who isn’t in a “designated curbside zone” still get food when I was being nice and going through the drive through cause there...

My wife has had 2 in a row bad experiences at this location,both times other customers were helped in front of her and the cashier walks away not even acknowledging she is standing there waiting to order,we are new to the area and know discrimination happens here on island happens but did not expect it at big corporation with guidelines on customer service. This only happens in the evening after 7 in our experience,wife has blond hair and gets the “houlie” you don’t matter service here and we will NOT be returning to this location. She asked to speak with a manager this last time and they just left her standing there no one came out to hear her complaint so she just left and went to Jack-in-the-Box instead, very sad discrimination this day and...

Not so great with the DIY order.... Staff is probably much quicker at taking it than I am. The space it takes up gets in the way of standing in line and waiting for food. It is a poorly planned out upgrade. They should create an app to order instead. Something you can program and even place prior to arrival or while in their WiFi space. The wait was horrible too. No fancy shmancy stuff either -- just a quarter pounder meal 2 fillets and nuggets...19 mins. 19??!!!!!???
