We came here straight from the airport—suitcases in the trunk, travel sweat still clinging to our souls—and Restaurant 604 was exactly the warm Hawaiian welcome we needed. I trusted the good reviews, and I’m glad I did. The vibe? Relaxed and breezy with a decent ocean view that screams, “You made it.” The food? So good we were nearly speechless (which says a lot for this group). We had: • Ahi Katsu – Panko-crusted perfection. I don’t know who thought to mix mango-wasabi-teri sauce with furikake rice, but I want to thank them personally. • Fish Tacos – Spiced just right, with guac and chipotle sour cream that made me consider moving here permanently. • Fish & Chips – Crispy, flavorful, and came with the best pineapple slaw I’ve ever had. Like… I never thought I’d rave about slaw, but here we are. Also, the portions were legit. No sad, overpriced bites here—you actually get fed. Bonus: Our server was a total gem and casually mentioned he spars with Max Holloway. Like, sorry what?? UFC fans, this is your cue to nerd out. The service was awesome all around, but if you’re lucky enough to get the MMA server, tip him well—he could probably triangle choke you (just kidding…) Drinks? My friends loved them, especially the Bloody Mary. I didn’t try it (team jet lag + hydration), but their faces said “vacation mode activated.” Highly recommend hitting this spot if you’re flying in hungry and want to start your Hawaii trip right. Great food, even better people, and a vibe that’ll have you forgetting your flight even happened.

Clam chowder was delicious even on a very warm day. Sesame poke nachos were amazing. There was a lot of poke very well distributed throughout chips with the sauce so you easily got poke on every bite with the wonton chips. I’d get this every single time. We actually ate here twice and the poke nachos were the most consistent food item we got. The fish and chips were really good on the first trip. The strips of fish were very well cooked and a good portion along with crispy french fries. The 2nd visit, the fish and chips were actually large fish breasts basically and weren’t as good as the first day. Not sure why they were different but not as good when they weren’t strips. The fish tacos weren’t very good and were not seasoned well. The ahi KATSU was a good pick. The KATSU was crispy and a good portion. The loco moco was nothing special and we wouldn’t order it again just like the fish tacos. I ordered the Bloody Mary because everyone said we had to but I was not impressed by it and thought it was very sweet for a Bloody Mary. All other drinks we got were delicious. Service the first day was also really attentive and super helpful with menu but 2nd trip was not good at all and we spent probably an extra 40 mins there we shouldn’t have due to that. To be honest, the views, the poke nachos, and drinks were worth going here but I couldn’t give it higher than 4 stars due to the number of things we didn’t think went well but felt those good things warranted the 4 stars.

This was my second time visiting this restaurant, and to be honest, the second time was totally by mistake. I didn't know that this golf course location was even affiliated with the other location. I had intended to order from the Arizona-Memorial location and didn't notice that I had ordered from the golf course spot. What a difference in everything. I feel like the two locales are run by completely different organizations, because it's simply night and day. I would love for the kitchens and staff of both locations to SWITCH for a day. What you see in the picture I provided was the paltry amount of spaghetti that came with the meal. The meal was for my wife. I called it in and simply ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, a bowl of tomato basil soup, garlic bread and a side salad. When she opened her entree, she immediately asked "is this a kid's plate?". When I saw it, I thought "what adult person would serve this to another?" That is, unless it is the last of the spaghetti period. I just couldn't believe it. So, of course my night was ruined. I had an upset wife to assuage the rest of the night, and trust me, she holds a grudge. So, now, all I can do is verify that I am NOT ordering from the golf course location ever again. I've been disappointed by restaurants before (our first experience at the golf course locale was so underwhelming I chose not to write about it because I had nothing good to say), but this experience was most unfortunate. I do not recommend this location, at all.

Since it was my bro-in-law‘s college graduation weekend, I had the foresight to book a Saturday brunch reservation at Restaurant 604 about a month in advance of our arrival. we’re all glad we did because when we arrived on graduation Saturday for brunch, there was an empty table in the restaurant. It makes sense because as soon as you get to your table, no matter where you’re sitting, you have a beautiful view of the marina. The staff was welcoming, warm, and genuinely eager to ensure an amazing dining experience. We waited less than 5 minutes for our table to be ready for us, which we were thankful for. The impressive variety of beers on tap was a bonus. After a little deliberation, we went with some of their house favorite plates, including the country fried steak, kalbi and eggs, and the veggie eggs benedict. The country fried steak was smothered and wonderful gravy that paired beautifully with the two eggs. The kalbi was cooked perfectly and each bite was savory heaven. The veggie eggs benedict was piled sky high with tons tomatoes, spinach, and mushrooms. Throughout our whole experience, our server was attentive and patient, and very accommodating to our needs. We tried to return later in the evening when a band was performing, but we’re not able to make it back, but will definitely make it back next time to experience restaurant 604 at night.

This past Sunday I had an opportunity to eat at this restaurant with a colleague of mine who seem to have some interesting going there. Because we're in tear two in City and county of Honolulu we cannot occupy much of the restaurant if we're eat in. Wait time was anywhere from an hour and 15 to an hour and a half. I absolutely will not do that however out of respect for my friend I did. Almost all the employees there seem to be cordial. In our case our server's name was Marley. A very polite respectful attentive and paid attention to details server. I cannot imagine that you request anyone but if there is a time that you can request anyone I would surely ask for her. My order was simple just a hamburger and fries. I wish I could say it was remarkable but it really wasn't. Having said that it's right on the water overlooking Pearl harbor. All TVs of course are focused on sports which is okay if you're into that. no offense to this location but if you're just going out to get something to eat I think there's a lot of other places you can go and not wait an hour and a half but that's just me. Marley was amazing but some of the other people who assisted mentally it must have been somewhere else cuz they couldn't remember more than one thing in a row. If you do go there bon appetit!

I really hate to make this review but tonight really was disappointing. I've been to 604 before when they had the ribs which were sooo good but they don't have it on the menu anymore. Tonight, my husband and i ordered to start: Kalua Nachos and Firecracker chicken, The kalua nachos were soggy with the cheese tasting very artificial and overall was bland. The firecracker chicken was actually the best thing we ordered out of the whole night, that's why i give this place 2 stars. I ordered the Seafood pasta which was incredibly bland, I took 4 bites and was just over it and decided to not eat it anymore. My husband ordered the ribeye which came out rare, pretty much all raw inside even though the piece of "ribeye" was SO THIN! we had the waitress send it back, and when it came back, it was still so rare in the middle as seen in the picture. the picture shown looked better than the first time we got it but it still looks rare to me. He decided to eat half of the steak cause he didn't want to cause any issues. Overall, the ambiance was nice with the live music and the firecracker chicken was the only thing that was good I am never coming back here again and am so sad to make this review because this place actually used to be good.
