Tacos Guadalajara — Restaurant in Hawaii

Ok, so we've been here about five or six times so far, and will definitely continue to come back. I've seen some of the other reviews and not quite sure what their expectations were, or what their experience was like, but I can say that we've only had good experiences here. It's a quaint food stand adjacent to the little church just across Kukui Mall. Free parking in the back, just go around the little building on the corner next to the taco stand. Our first trip here was a result of having a bad meal at a nearby burger joint. Noticed the taco stand as we drove away from the burger place and immediately turned around to check it out. We were not disappointed at all. The tacos were served hot (I know it's a small place, but still) and the veggies were fresh. They also have a couple of different sauces to choose from. The food was delicious and definitely made this place a go to spot for us. BTW If you want their fish tacos, get there early, I'm pretty sure the fish tacos are a hot seller and sometimes they run out quick. My recommendation is the adobado pork burrito (or taco), the pork is marinated and is very tasty. Walked up to the window at 6:20pm on Tuesday, 11/28. No customers in sight, two people inside I believe to be working. The tightly-pulled-back-hair staff member was busy (not busy), looking elsewhere. Once she begrudgingly approached the window I asked - May I ask you a question? Bothered, barely an eyebrow moved with disdain, stares at us. My wife turned and walked off before I could even ask her to make sure I’m not crazy that this is messed up. We enjoyed a great dinner at the venue inside instead. And, while leaving, noticed they had started closing early at 6:46 with 8:00 listed as their hours.

They may have their better days, but this wasn’t one of them. 15 years of supporting local businesses on the island… I can only describe my experience here and not return. Worse tacos I have ever tried! This comes from someone that is not picky on eating food and to top it off 4 dollars for a taco!!!! Also really bad customer service I asked for some lime and got a sliver of a piece I asked the lady for more lime and she got mad I don’t know rolled her eyes at me... Then I asked her if she had a sink or something to wash my hands and they had this lil sink that was like last minute installed that looked ready to fall apart ..
