Earth Aloha Eats — Restaurant in Maui

I am a life-long carnivore who admittedly needs to eat more veggies, so I was hopeful for some new alternatives when I heard about the new Earth Aloha Eats opening up down the road from us. We went within the first few days of opening with family that was visiting, everyone tried something different, and everyone loved it! I had been thinking about a burger for dinner before my wife coaxed us into vegetarian, and since I was feeling adventurous, I went for the "Jerby" in an attempt to satiate my appetite. And let me tell you, I was unprepared to like this burger as much as I did.

As I bit in, my taste buds achieved escape velocity as they were launched on a para-psychedelic tour of the space-time continuum. Before breaking the sound barrier on the way out of our atmosphere, they were accompanied by a veritable symphony of flavors erupting from the warm brioche bun, each one gliding, cascading like an infinite wheel rolling the peaks and valleys of my palate, with each revolution in turn pushing the limits of my consciousness, driving me to question the true nature of my reality. I had been lied to by the establishment. I had lied to myself. Anyway, now I put jalapenos on my PB&J's.

The cutest vegan spot on Maui! I’ve eaten at the food trucks many times and was so excited when they opened a brick and mortar! So many yummy options. My favorite is the Aloha Burger! I got it with the sweet potato black bean patty and in a pita. Soooo delicious and satisfying. Other must try is the pulled pork fries. I’m addicted! Haha My son loves getting the gyro which is so big and super good! My husband tried the “Peanut Butter Jerby” special which is a vegan burger with patty, peanut butter, jelly, jalapeños amongst other goodness and he gave it a two thumbs up. Don’t knock it til you try it! Also love the Mexican street tacos and snix bar. So many great options you can’t go wrong! Drooling just thinking about it. I got to try the turmeric ginger shots which is a new addition and wow I’ll be coming back for those often! I am so impressed by the space and the food. I love all of their merch too. I purchased a cute glass to use for my future drinks. And their silverware set is so nice to have on hand as well. So excited for this new space to come eat and meet up...

I was GOING to eat here. My mom (handicapped) and I were at the thrift store, and I decided to wait outside at the restaraunt for her to finish up. I sat down at the outside seating, and I was seated for maybe 30 seconds before a worker with neck tattoos and gauged ears came out and asked if I wanted an outside menu, before closing the door immediately. I was confused, because I was going to say yes, before he came out a few seconds later and said "That means leave". I was absolutely floored, because I didn't expect that type of behavior from someone working at a restaraunt. I moved, and my mom came out a few minutes later asking why I looked upset. When I told her what happened, she became equally upset.

A few minutes later, the worker came out again and I told him his behavior was very unprofessional and rude, and that he could have at least said please. Instead of acknowledging his behavior, he became very aggressive with me. Throughout this entire altercation, I was telling him was to mind his manners and to be kind.

Absolutely horrible behavior coming...
