Teddy’s Bigger Burgers Kahului — Restaurant in Hawaii

Man, this was really, really good. Service was awesome, the team working was all very welcoming and light, smiles and greetings from everyone. We ordered the Paniolo burger special with fries and a soda and a son of a burger, a strawberry malted shake and cheese curds. Every bite was awesome. The burgers were perfect, the bun is soft and SO fresh. The fries were hot and the portions were huge. I was genuinely impressed with the son of a burger. The balance of this is just perfect. It’s everything you ever wished a Big Mac was and more. You can really tell that whoever puts the menu together LOVES burgers. There’s a lot of thought in the toppings and combinations. They aren’t just huge and sloppy, they’re huge and sloppy and delicious! I see the reviews where people say it’s too expensive. I disagree. You cannot compare this to fast food. The quality is much higher and it took me 5 minutes to get the best burger I’ve had out in years. Plus, have you been to McDonald’s lately? It’s still $40 for two and half the time it’s so gross you can’t eat it, or maybe you shouldn’t… this is a better dollar spent and with the warmth of the staff and the comfy deliciousness of those burgers, we felt right at home and won’t likely go anywhere else for a burger as long as these guys are around. On Feb 17, 2024 at Station #POS2, at 5:10pm ….Jasmine was the MOST welcoming person, and the BEST customer service person I have encountered in a long time! Both, mine and my husbands burgers were perfect! I ordered mine, medium rare, no bun! The cook was the BEST my husband and I have had so far on our vacation to Hawaii! Then there was Nathan, who had the coolest, deep “radio voice” that was figuring out the Coke machine! I don’t usually right out many reviews, but MAN! Everyone on staff was so friendly and made everyone dining in or taking out feel like family! I actually asked Jasmine if he was the manager! We stopped here after road to Hana and have been to Teddys in the past. The past experience was great. This place has plummeted in quality with an extreme increase in prices. The burgers came out burnt and were not the weight that was advertised. We paid for third pound burgers yet the patty was the size of a 50 cent coin. The mushrooms we ordered were also missing on the burger. The chicken sandwich we ordered was rubbery. Shakes were machine made yet they claim they are hand spun. The shake was over 11 dollars. The large fries were really smalls. We were in a hurry so didn’t bother to notify anyone. The burgers here would have been bad at the cheapest if fast food restaurants.
