Crumbl — Restaurant in Hawthorne

I stumbled upon Crumbl cookies by accident while driving down Rosecrans in Hawthorne, and I saw this little wavy black sign that said Crumbl cookies. As I said it out loud, my daughter said CRUMBLE COOKIES WHERE!? She said “mom, that's the hype on TikTok right now.” So I made a U-turn and made my way to the shopping center where Crumble Cookies were located. We found parking right in front and made our way in.

When we entered, we were greeted right away by everyone working there. We ordered our cookies on the tablet. The day we went, the flavors weren’t very exciting. We wanted chocolate chip, but they were sold out, boooo. So we got salted caramel, pina colada, and a peanut butter bar. The ordering process was easy, and we waited for maybe about 5/7 mins until our order was ready.

The place is super cute, and everyone working was hustling. The packing that the cookies come in is cute and different. When it was time to dig in, my daughter and I tried the salted caramel first. It was soooo delicious! Nice and warm, oooey gooey, crumble, and just so good! However, when it was time to try the pina colada and the peanut butter bar, we were very disappointed. We took one bite of each and threw it away. Those two were way too sweet and were nothing compared to the salted caramel. My daughter and I were bummed out.

Overall, this place is super cute, and I will return to try other flavors. They are constantly creating new flavors, so I’m looking forward to trying them. Hopefully, they’ll be just as delicious as the salted caramel ones....

I’ve come to this location a few times and generally the service could be better, but tonight was the worst I have experienced. I placed an order on my app well ahead of getting to the store, and even after arriving and hitting “I’m here” I waited 15 minutes and still no cookies ready. Plus my status on the app had not changed from “3rd in line”. I had to be somewhere so I had to just cancel my order and leave. It is Labor Day so they are busy, but there was a crowd of people waiting for their orders and no one seemed to be servicing them and bringing up boxes. There were two girls in the back working, but I didn’t see either of them bringing anyone’s orders up. The screen in the store also showed most of the cookies “sold out” and I did see a few disappointed walk-in customers leave without ordering. If they can’t fulfill the orders I feel they should be either notifying us in the app, or calling customers forward so everyone can make a decision on what they would like to do with their selections. Jamba Juice for example will give you a phone call and ask if you want to select a different flavor if they are out of necessary ingredients for what you selected. Everything I have ordered here does taste great, so I hope they can improve on their service at this location. I did take a video which shows more people waiting but I cannot...

This location is inside a busy shopping center. It's next door to the Navy Federal Credit Union.

I frequent Crumbl Cookie and here are some of the flavors I can remember enjoying - I'm only mentioning the ones I like, every now and again, I get a cookie that I just don't like the taste (it happens).

Raspberry Lemonade Blueberry Cheesecake Vanilla Oreo Cookies & Cream Boston Cream Pie Strawberry & Cream Apple Pie Cannoli Cornbread Weekly they have the OG Chocolate Chip

The cookies are sweet, most. Crumbl is like the Krispy Kreme of cookies. Ingredients = quality.

Pros Week to week the cookie flavors change. I personally like the mix up of flavors.Variety is always nice. They bring back flavors as well. You may see "that" cookie back in rotation at some point.

Large/regular cookie sizes plus minis available to purchase.

Cons Cash only. My biggest pet peeve.

Kiosks orders only. Limited human interaction. They call your name and hand you a box. Automation of humans - blah. It's nice to be greeted and interact with an employee to place an order.

Parking can be a challenge given how busy this...
