Subject: Feedback on Sunday’s Experience
I visited your establishment on Sunday for lunch and encountered an issue that I wanted to bring to your attention. According to your posted hours, you open at 11:00 AM. However, when I arrived at that time, the doors were still locked, and I had to call to confirm your opening status. The staff member who answered mentioned that you were open but explained the delay was due to preparing the registers.
When the doors were finally unlocked, the greeting I received was not warm or welcoming, which left me feeling uncomfortable. While I truly enjoy your food, I value good customer service, and this experience did not meet my expectations.

Read moreChicken teriyaki is the only reliable staple at this Sam Sai.
I really try to enjoy and give my local San Sai a chance, but margins must be tight at this location: no fountain drinks, only soy sauce packets when dining in (they use to have soy sauce bottles) and stinginess with chopsticks when dining in and pickup orders (4-5 orders of sushi and 2 chopsticks, 2 ramen and 1 sushi and a single pair of chopsticks), recyclable soup containers leak within 5 minutes of having hot liquids on them.
This is the only location that I'm aware of that has tonkatsu ramen: I would not recommend ordering it due to weak flavored broth and too-soft noodles.
The staff is always super helpful (like recommending not to order the ramen for takeout) and seems to work hard, the sushi and ramen quality leave much...
Read moreMy two fav Sansai locations closed so I'm hoping this will stay open for a long time. Fish is expensive so expect food prices here to be higher than crappy fast food. This Sansai offers more than just plates/bowls of the usual salmon/beef/chicken; they offer ramen, dumpling soup and udon as well as Poke! My usual is the salmon plate with no rice and three salads plus a grilled veggies skewer. It's around $18 but worth it considering what you get compared to other unhealthy fastfood options.
Parking gets a little crowded in the strip mall location here and there was a homeless guy walking around but otherwise, it's fine.
The store is clean and well lit with TVs and plenty of dining tables. There's also a water container for free water.
Highly recommended for fresh and healthy...
