I love going to this Starbucks for the past two years until the recent experience I had with the manager. For the past couple days I keep being told by the baristas to purchase an item in order to continue using the outlets to charge my devices. I usually purchase a yogurt and get the Venti ice waters. Apparently there is complaints that people are hogging the outlets and that non purchases customers will be put on a timer to buy an item or they will be asked to move. I have been referred to as a non purchasing customer in a diminutive manner even though I have spent two years worth of purchases at this location. I purchased an apple juice in the afternoon yesterday when I arrived at the store. I sat in a seat with an outlet. A couples hours pass and the barista informs me that I need to purchase another item or I need to leave the store, now I am very confused at this point because I cant find anywhere in the Starbucks code that you have to KEEP purchasing items in order to stay there. I speak with the manager and she tells me that me being there is driving away business because I am hogging the outlets because I don't constantly purchase items so I am pushing customers away. The manager told me that because I am at the store 10 hours sometimes that I "hang out" all day long. I haven't been at this location in a week because I was visiting family in Northern California and I told the manager that and she had paused and was trying to say that I am there hogging outlets which is very confusing. For the past couple of months I have been going to this Starbucks after work for two hours and going home so I am confused on how I am hogging the outlets. I was the only one in the store to keep being told to purchase something and the it seems like the manager may not like me. I feel like a am being discriminated against by the manager and Starbucks is supposed to be a safe space especially for someone who is a POC. Will be contacting corporate to look into this issue.
EDIT 10/8/2024 I was kicked out of the store because the manager got offended at the review that I made telling me that I made her feel "uncomfortable" she stated that she isn't racist against black people for some odd reason even though I never stated in my review that I am black. She proceeded to berate me and say that I should have called her boss (that she is friends with) about the issue, but I'm a customer so she cannot talk to me like she does her baristas. She gave me the Starbucks policy about being in the store and it does not state anywhere that customers must buy items in order to be...
Read moreI had came to this Starbucks a couple of times and although they are not the friendliest people they were making my drink right so I had been coming there because it's close to where I have been working but today I put in my mobile order as I usually do and when I came in I asked if I could use the restroom and immediately was told restrooms are for customers only I told her I put in a mobile order but I can go use the restroom somewhere else if it's a problem and she said know if I put in a mobile order I can use the restroom it's a little ridiculous the police the restrooms like that I don't look like a homeless person I'm carrying a purse that probably costs as much as her rent so I definitely wasn't going to go inside and do anything crazy in the bathroom other than use it to release the previous $7 coffee I had bought from you guys this morning which on its own is a ridiculous amount of money for a coffee that isn't very good and here I am buying a second one keeping you in business like everyone else but have to be berated on if you bought an order or not to Simply go to the bathroom I would get it if I came inside and had a whole bunch of bags with my belongings and I look like I had been sleeping outside and with that being said now that we are here the employees at this Starbucks could use a little bit of training on customer service friendliness and cleanliness but mostly maybe you could train them how to say hello and smile since after all we are paying their wage and again...
Read moreEvery time I go to this Starbucks they always mess up my order. They either give me something I didn't ask for or make my Starbucks really super foamy and it doesn't taste like it should. I don't know if it's maybe just the same person who keeps on making it that way but it just doesn't taste good at all. I wish I could drive to a Starbucks that's farther away but unfortunately I don't have the time to. I don't think I should have to take my time to drive to another Starbucks just because they can't make what I ordered right the first time. That's right, they have to try several times until they finally get what I ordered right. It's not that hard I could just be asking for them to not put whip cream on my frappe and they put whip cream and add some extra spices?! I don't know where your getting "Can you please add cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla spices with caramel and chocolate drizzle to that please?" In not that picky, I order something simple and they still get it wrong. ...
