My recent experience tasting their Zershk Polo and Combo Kabob left me thoroughly impressed. The Zershk Polo's saffron infused rice and tangy barberries burst with flavor, while the Combo Kabob featured perfectly grilled beef and chicken. You get 2 skewers and 2 grilled tomatoes. They also provide fresh herbs, bread, and a delightful dessert. Didar's dedication to freshness and authenticity is unmistakable. This culinary gem really ramps up Hayward's dining scene. I ordered from the Japanese fusion place and was very disappointed. First my order was 20 minutes later than the latest pickup time. The person who's food I was also picking up from a different kitchen was ready before I got there. Once I got it home I then found the cut of fish I ordered, which looked like a nice filet in the picture, was almost a whole fish. The fish was tasty once I worked the meat out of it. We ordered from the Persian and Salvadorean restaurants. Muy delicioso!! The koobideh kabob was spot on full of flavor and moist. Then we added a flank steak plate and chicken tamal and gobbled it up. I even ordered more tamales to go for breakfast and lunch. The tamales are big, moist, lots of chicken and potatoes wrapped in banana leaves to round out the umami flavors!! Definitely coming back!
