This is the only Indian food option in the food court on the lower floor of the Southland Mall. It is located on the left side at the bottom of the stairs coming through the mall or the right side coming down the elevators. The food is quite good and the naan is legit, fresh and tasty. The only complaint I have is not really a complaint but something I would point out because the expectation is the food in the Southland Mall food court would come out relatively quick. However, when ordering food here it will take a while for them to make the food since it is made fresh. Therefore the wait for your food will be longer than you may expect from a fast food establishment or any of the other restaurants in the food court here. I would estimate the wait time to be about 10 to 12 minutes. You can sit at the tables in the food court and wait, but don't expect it to come out in a flash. At the same time, once it's ready, you're in for a treat because this is good stuff. If you need a vegetarian meal, or like Indian food, and you have a few minutes to spare for your food to be made then this is a worthy...
Read moreThe food is fine, but the service is terrible. The server tried to fool me to order a more expensive combo (only $1!). I wanted to order the cheaper one since I like to eat legs rather than breasts, not because it's cheaper. The server told me that the breast was bigger than the leg and suggested that I order that one, but I refused. He double-checked, and I just stuck to my original choice. But the final receipt appeared to be a chicken breast combo! Even though he gave me $1 back AFTER I FOUND THAT AND TALKED TO HIM, it made me feel weird. If he really made a mistake on the whole order, why was the meal I got the leg one? It should be the breast one because he messed up the order! The only case I can think about is that HE WAS TRYING TO FOOL ME FOR ONLY $1! Honestly, I don't really care about the $1, but I can't bear the fact that he first tried to force me to order something I don't like, then he tried to treat me like a fool! I FEEL DEEPLY DISRESPECTFUL! DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE TO...
Read morerecent dining experience in Hayward I feel compelled to bring attention to certain aspects that left me dissatisfied. Firstly, the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the establishment were below my expectations
Additionally, I was disappointed to learn that the food served may not be halal, as advertised. As a customer who values halal dietary options, this information is essential for making informed choices. If the food served is not meeting halal standards, it is crucial to rectify the communication regarding halal offerings to avoid any misunderstanding among your clientele.
I believe addressing these concerns would greatly improve the overall dining experience at Naan and Curry. Customers value transparency and cleanliness, and it is in the best interest of the restaurant to ensure these aspects are prioritized. I hope you take this feedback constructively and consider making the necessary improvements to maintain the reputation and quality of your...
