Torrid — Local services in Hayward

First I did an online order 10/1.Received the email that stated my order was processed packed and shipped with no tracking information a few days later. When I checked the original email order # online it was still shipped no update. Called the store Friday they said the order was there great. Show up Saturday afternoon to a chaotic haute cash event. Stood in line the manger sent the girl to get my package that girl sent another girl to look for it 30 mins later I’m still standing there no package they can’t find it. The manager is then tells me the only order I have was from may. I said they why tell me last night the package was there? She said what I said I called they said it was here. She took the order # went online seen it was still in processing status. She called customer service gave them some information then handed me the phone to talk to them. I found out it was delivered on 10/8. She took the phone back talked to them then disappeared for another good 10 mins. Low and behold they have it and guess what it was never checked in from 10/8 and I picked it out on 10/13. No I’m sorry thank you for waiting. I'm a plus-size woman so anytime I go into a store I do have a tendency to just walk into torrid even if I'm not going to purchase anything. For one thing. If a store has a tour it tells me that they probably have at least one other store that has clothing that fits me, and if they don't I can quickly just leave the Mall because that means nothing else will fit me. I don't normally walk into torrid very long because I think their prices are absolutely horrid and most of the time. The clothing is somewhat dated in my opinion, but it is still nice to walk in and see if they're having any kind of discount on jeans because who doesn't need a pair of jeans. Placed an online order so I come to the Southland Mall TORRID to pick it up. Someone greets me within a few minutes and leaves to the back to get my order. I explained this was a gift for my sister and I need to return one of the items because she already has it. She tells me told woman #2 is helping another customer but will be right with me. 20 mins pass and I'm still waiting. Another cashier (woman#3) asks if I've been helped and woman #2 explains what needs to be done and asks her to help me. Woman #3 immediately sees the item I'm trying to return is clearance and advises it cannot be returned. No way to get store credit nor are there any exceptions to the rule.
