Oh G Burger — Restaurant in Hayward

Standard smash burger with grilled onions and house sauce, made it a combo with crispy shoestring fries, and added a strawberry milkshake - it was all solid. My only grievance is my milkshake was $5 on top of making my meal a combo for $6, not much of a deal.

The mom and pop working there are so nice, greeting each guest warmly as if we’re all already friends.

I started with a simple smash burger, and will return to try their specialty burgers and korean snacks like tteokbokki and fried chicken.

It seems I had been first before a rush of people, and still received my food and drink within 15 minutes of ordering. It seems they already have some regulars and the patrons I saw coming in were a mix of young and elderly. Nice

There is plenty of seating and even accessible tables, with plenty of room to walk around and between.

There are two single-use, gender-neutral bathrooms that are updated and clean, please use it well and keep it tidy! One bathroom seemed larger than the other, and I assume the larger is ADA accessible, very nice.

I heard from a friend that Oh G Burger had opened in Hayward, so on a lazy Saturday when I didn’t feel like cooking, my husband and I decided to check it out. We each had a smash burger and it was even better than we expected! I love taking pictures of my food, but it was so good that I completely forgot to snap a photo of the burger.

The patty was big and juicy. My only small complaint is that I ordered extra veggies, and I wish there had been a bit more of them. The crispy tater tots with cheese were also amazing — even the dipping sauce was so tasty, I forgot to worry about the calories for a moment.

We also got the K-popcorn chicken to-go for dinner, but we ended up eating half of it in the car on the way home. It was super crispy and the sauce was really flavorful. Since I like my chicken extra crispy, I asked for the sauce on the side.

The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Next time, I’m going to try one of their specialty burgers. I’m so happy to have found a great local...

I'm glad to taste that Korean fusion keeps my tongue tantilized. The Hayward burger is a god damn must. I'm serious. It's fried spicy tuna. It's crispy and golden brown and raw on the inside! Think of it like a savory,fried ice cream texture result. The flavors and contrast textures blew my mind. At $23 for the burger, it's well packed with food! Such a quality bun. Absolutely fire. Come for quality ingredients, diverse and balenced flavors and unique items. Also tried the K chicken burger. It is a straight challenge to Starbird Chicken. Had it with kim chi. The breading is delicate and crispy. Really shows you how basic American Fried chicken sandwiches are basic AF. Sorry, not sorry, Popeyes, KFC, etc. I'm going back to try smash burger next for sure!
