I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while and I’m glad I did. I’ve been driving to San Leandro for my Chinese. This place is closer and better! Great service. When I got there, it turned out the restaurant was closed early due to a catering order but the gentleman who served me, squeezed my order in anyway. He even offered me soup while I waited because it was cold out. So kind. I got the vegetable chow mein. Anytime I try a new restaurant I generally try something super simple. If I’m not let down, I’ll be back and start exploring the menu. I will be back. They use a low mein for the chow mein noodle which I’m not usually a big fan of but it totally didn’t matter. It was still the tastiest chow mein I think I’ve ever had and the noodles were cooked perfectly. They have the flavors just right. Can’t wait to try the rest...

Very rude waitress... out of rice.... we walked out! My family has been going to Sunflower since the first one on CV Blvd. We love the food! We know because of Covid, indoor dining and hours may be affected. So, we called ahead of time at about 6pm to ask about indoor dining and I was pleasantly invited to come in. We didn't arrive until 7:15pm, and closing time was 8 o'clock. When we came in no one acknowledged us We get it, its busy. But then we sat ourselves and I asked if it was okay to grab the menus. The waitress then awkardly asked how long it would take us to eat. I told her we should be done by 8pm. We never felt so unwelcomed.
