Gennaro's Pizza — Restaurant in Hazle Township

If you value cleanliness, dont come here. I was a bit shocked that i seen the guy handle money then go grab a dry, old pizza with the same hands & grab some mushrooms and sprinkle them on the pizza and put in oven. I kept thinking about the germs.

He seen my face and i asked him did he just do that. He grabbed the pizza out the oven with those same hands and asked defensively "do you want it or u can go somewhere else!"

After no greeting & this, i was like im hungryyyy but im out.. tsk tsk

Was just passing through the area on a road trip and decided to swing in since we love a good pizza. The owner was very friendly and instantly made you feel welcome. We ordered a large cheese and they had one in the oven they were making for slices asked to cut on our wait he had that one coming out. We were obviously thrilled with that. The pizza was delicious and probably one of the best I have had in a very long time on par with a great NYC pizza. Great place and recommend...

We love the pizza here and the owner is a very nice true Italian. Last time we were here he had our order already started when he saw us pull into the parking lot! The pizza needs no topping because the sauce and cheese alone are terrific and nice &s salty just the way we love pizza. They also serve hoagies, cheese steaks and a few other great choices. The building itself is a little older but has served the owner well and we hope he stays open...
