Salerno's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

EDIT- Since you want to say that “Salernos” is a popular name and there are many pizzerias by that name and I’m somehow “confused”, I am absolutely speaking about your pizzeria in Hazlet and you absolutely DID tell me that sometimes your customers wait 3 hours for your pizza. I will never forget it because it was such a smug remark that I couldn’t believe you said it! And yes I was a loyal customer. I live in Holmdel and frequented your establishment at least two times a week. I can forgive the girl on the phone who probably had no training abd literally called me a crazy lady but the response from you was just ridiculous. I have proof of this whole transaction and the order time and the actual delivery time and the complaints I made. Before you call me a liar you should have receipts yourself! Bad business Sir! You should and could have just apologised!

Absolutely horrible. I ordered food at 7pm and I Was told it wouldn’t be delivered until after 9pm and then when I called and asked why it would take so long and if there was anything I can do to make it go quicker, like pick it up myself, the person I spoke to told me that his customers sometimes wait 3 hours for his pizza, and when I stayed that that was ridiculous, the girl on the phone told me that I was a crazy lady and hung up on me!! This is a restaurant that I order from two to 3 times per week!! To be treated with such disrespect from a neighborhood business that I patronize and use frequently is ridiculous and NO ONE should treat their customers this way. Ordered food tonight, not only did they mess up the order but the bacon was barely heated up or cooked. It was undercooked and near to raw and the sausage wasn’t even cut for the entree. The sausage was cold and pink towards the middle. Called them and they said no way it was undercooked or raw I said I’m telling you it was. The kid on the phone rudely said hang on and handed the phone to the manager/owner whose usually rude to employees and customers as per customers and my personal experiences and he was nothing short of disrespectful. First he apologized for the wrong chicken then says “I need to come there and pick it up and see for myself, what did you want a refund?” As if he didn’t believe me. I said yea full refund and he said “no no I need to see it”. If he read his own reviews he would probably have just believed it. Then he continues to say he won’t bring me new food he will just pick it up and refund. I said why don’t you just bring me new food and we will change it out. Then he hears my wife in the back and says “clearly you’re not in control give me her who is in control”. He then curses at my wife and we hung up. Literally take the feedback, get out of your own head. This isn’t our first issue, I re-cooked our food only because I have 3 toddlers that were hungry and we were getting close to bed time and the original wait was longer than usual. Be careful of the long light brown /blonde hair you might find in your pizza! The manager woman was very nice and apologetic and offered a credit for another pie but when I called back a few days later the guy there acted like I was begging for some free food and as if I made the story up, once I got into detail and explain the color of the hair then he told me he would give me a credit but I would have to come pick it up or wait for delivery because he has paying customers so I offered to order something else so that I can again be considered a paying customer who is eligible for delivery, and he had the nerve to get nasty about it as if they were doing me a favor!! Wow very unprofessional! My first time trying them will definitely be my last their Pizza is not even good enough for so much hassle I swear it's probably them and their family putting up all the good reviews. I will not go as far as to give the business problems wit the health department but I will definitely use word of mouth and tell everybody at work, at business seminars, at schools, everywhere I Go when they mention Pizza definitely don't eat from there!
