Pretty standard Aldi experience at this store. Most of their house brands are very high quality and their prices ( even on nationally branded goods) simply kill other grocery stores. Aldi also has some of the best gluten free products you will find anywhere, and lots of them. Produce selection is limited and sometimes not the best quality but generally it's fine for staple items. Be sure to check out their coffee. Some of their bagged products, the single source coffees in particular, are spectacular and about half of what you'll pay elsewhere for a similar product. Update - August 2018: Several recent visits were extremely disappointing. The condition of many of their produce items were absolutely appalling. There is no excuse for this. They were also out of many key staple items on both of our recent visits. I'm not certain what is going on with this location but with Lidle opening up a new store a few hundred yards down the road they really need to get their act together, quickly. Aldi should also fast track this store and get it modernized ASAP, similar to what they are doing with other...
Read moreI visited an Aldi near where I work a few weeks back and found that it offered affordable quality produce, so I decided to check out this Aldi (closer to where I live). Man, do I regret it. The rudeness of the customers shopping there was only surpassed by the rudeness from the staff I encountered. I brought two items from the produce section that were molded over and instead of taking it seriously, the cashier just threw them out. I asked that she show her manager because clearly all the produce should be inspected, and her reply was, "$10.76- cash or debit?". I don't need a thank you, but just some measure of concern from 'Laura' would have left me reassured that I just happened to come on an off day. Her indifference, however, shows me that this location clearly does not concern itself in complying with health regulations, so I will not endanger myself by coming here again, nor will I contribute to its profitability by giving them my business. I have uploaded photos of the products of note and will also be contacting the town's or state's...
Read moreOkay, so this place is different than other grocery store. It is not fancy and they don't sell a lot of big brands. They also don't have a huge variety of products. You also have to put a quarter in the cart to use one (you do get it back once you return the cart) and you have to bring your own bags. In case you didn't, you can purchase what you need there, just put the items in your car or use a box that they sometimes have lying around. I do like this place and you will too once you get over the things mentioned above. A lot of their items are reasonably priced and their private brands are actually really good. I love their trail mixes, tortilla chips, salsa, cheeses, bread, organic...
