Kung Fu Tea & TKK — Restaurant in Hazlet Township

I'm still buzzing from my incredible five star experience at the new Kung Fu Tea x TKK Fried Chicken in Hazlet! They’re currently in their soft opening with a grand opening celebration happening at the end of August 2024.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Some were still learning the ropes but were getting the hang of it thanks to the other staff members helping them. They made me feel so welcome, and their recommendations were spot on. I opted for the mango milk tea, which was a refreshing burst of tropical flavor, and the three-piece spicy tender combo with fries - a match made in heaven! The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the spice level was just right. The fries were perfectly seasoned and the perfect complement to the meal.

This new spot is a must-try for anyone in Hazlet and to support a small business owned shop that is a part of an established franchise that is in locations around the USA, Canada, Taiwan, Cambodia and Japan. You can download the Kung Fu Tea app to order ahead for pick up or delivery. Plus in the app you can earn rewards towards future purchases like getting a free drink or free upgrade or free topping! I’m working my way up to a black belt!

The combination of delicious food, amazing drinks, and top-notch service earns Kung Fu Tea x TKK Fried Chicken again a solid five stars from me!

I arrived a little before closing and I was planning on getting the grand opening special but staff told me that ended and suggested I get the special in the app. Staff helped me with the app, but I was having problems with paying on my phone. I let them know that I was having issues submitting payment and that I wouldn't be able to get the special, he answered okay. I tried again and my phone was still having issues. I ended up walking out with nothing. I understand it's not their fault and I could have purchased without the app paying the full price. I am not sure it's franchise/store policy,  but I don't understand why he couldn't provide a solution OR honor the special and I would pay without the app. Instead,  his response was okay which is unacceptable! Pretty disappointed I didn't purchase anything, staff was friendly but their customer service regarding the issue was lacking. Again,...

i ordered 2 large Red Bean Slush and it had very little Red Bean in it with a lot of ice.When i ordered 2 medium the previous day it was fine. Being consistent with the drinks makes a big difference when coming back again.

Service for food was slow. Took me 30 minutes to get my order. Wasn’t busy to begin with. I ordered 2 order of wings and chicken sandwiches. The quality of food was very good. Just slow on the service.

The manager gave me 2 replacements for the 2 Red Bean Slush that was made incorrectly previously. I must say it was much much better. The way it's made in Chinatown. Thank you so much for respecting your customers. Will definitely go...
