This is long but necessary because it happens a lot to these young kids! Here I go. So I came in to your establishment, and right away observed how nervous the young man at the counter was. I repeated my order to him several times, "May I please have 2 orders of cheese stuffed crazy bread and 1 jalapeño cheese dipping sauce." He seemed confused on what buttons to push. Granted he may have been new, and I know what that is like, so I was patient with repeating my order to him. Two, its hard to hear what someone is saying with a mask on. But the total came to $11 and change. I responded by inquiring why it was so much ( 2 orders of cheese stuffed crazy bread and a jalapeño cheese dip should have been in the neighborhood of $8 and change.). He replied with I ordered with 2 Italian bread sticks. I corrected him AGAIN about what I wanted. THEN, some other little girl with honest intention of helping him I'm sure, came up and started pushing buttons at what I thought was to correct the order. The change I got back was $7 and change was still incorrect!! (of which I might add, the little girl had her hands all in his till!)They charged me for THREE orders of the cheese filled crazy bread and 1 aforementioned sauce. Which, btw, costed me MORE than the original incorrect price!! THEN, the little girl puts TWO of what I wanted and one order of just bread sticks in a bag for me!!! I mean C'mon, at that point, I just wanted out of the store. They were a bumbling duo!! However, I don't blame them entirely (they could've asked for help), but the truth is I blame YOU, Mr/Mrs Manager!! Shame on you for not only training them properly to use your POS (and I dont mean piece of sh*t) system, but also for not ensuring they know how to count change in their head vs what the computer tells them!!! Its simple math for heaven sake!! Poor things were left made to look like ding-a-lings!! Yes, it will be awhile before I come into your store again . . I'll be broke, waiting for them to figure out exact...
Read moreTonight we ordered a pizza with bell peppers on it. We got jalapenos instead, which gets the spicy pickle taste all over everything.
The customer support line would only give us a 25% refund, and the pizza was considerably more than 25% of our total. We called the store and the manager came into the phone. I told him that we had jalapenos instead of bell peppers and we would like a redo.
He told me to call DoorDash about it, because they have "nothing to do with the orders from Doordash, I have to use the LC website. If I had ordered through there, LC would have our back and fix it."
I did use the website, just like he said to... I don't have the Doordash app, didn't select a service to have deliver outside of the restaurant. No accountability. "We have nothing to do with online orders, so if there's an error, that's all on them. That's corporate." This was repeated at me without listening to the issue. Either way, corporate doesn't put toppings on, right?
"Well how are we to know if your driver stole your dessert or something? That's not on us." I didn't have any missing items and didn't suggest that I did. Charming, though.
Our driver was nice and probably doesn't change toppings on people in her car, at least not in this weather. Manager ended up loudly saying something like, we have nothing to do with online orders! I have nothing else to say to you and my lobby is full. Then he hung up.
We have weird wet spicy pizza that we won't be able to eat. Mistakes happen, there should be a protocol for fixing orders , even if it's just refunding the order bc delivery services online are connected to the website in a way the manager didn't know about.
This is the first negative review I have left for...
Read moreHad to update my previous review and they already didn't have a lot of room to drop but these folks managed to exceed my expectations of mediocrity. Saying that they were mediocre would actually be an upgrade.
I could say plenty about how they deserve less than 1 star based simply on their inability to get the correct food out when it was promised. Expect that your food is going to be at least an hour longer than promised even if the app tells you that your food is ready. It's very likely that when they hand you your order it will be wrong, check before you leave!
Here is where I had the biggest issue, I don't think anyone there practices appropriate safe food handling practices. Here's what I saw that made me cancel my order after waiting over an hour... there was a young man who was handling food, no gloves whose arms were completely covered in scabby wounds. I don't know what caused them, but I do know that I saw him scratching them and his face and his hair AND THEN TOUCHING THE FOOD!!! No gloves. I almost threw up... which is ironic since my wife watched an employee leave the back entrance and throw up near the car. Yep, blew chunks. I'd be willing to bet my refunded pizza money that he didn't wash up after.
Yes, reports have been made to all government agencies.
Stay away... stay...
