We visited last chance splash water park the first time two days before it closed this season, and we were quite impressed! It was fun!
Me, my wife, and our girls, 9, 7, and 5 years old, had a great time on the slides, and also on the diving board. We wish the second board would have been open, but at least one was, and it was very fun to bounce off and dive deep.
The green water slide, everyone said it hurt your back, but I barely felt any discomfort, and I went on it between 20-25 times. It was great because you have to be quite tall so there was no line, and you go FAST!
The blue waterside was the one all the kids could go on but it was much slower and wound around. Itâs still fun but much less interesting than the faster one. It took 5-10 minutes to get through the line too.
As for the locker rooms, they were spacious and clean enough.
The refreshments stand was out of most everything, as this was the next to last day of the year, and of course they donât want to get stuck with a bunch of food, but the food that was there and the listings looked like it was a pretty good selection and reasonable prices as well.
Our family of 5 could go there for $18.50, and we spent nearly 4 hours swimming. Itâs a good value at that rate. They need to add more chairs in some of the emptier areas though, as there wasnât much room left to sit.
We will come...
Read moreThe rules there are a little too much! First my son couldnât wear his own goggles but could barrow a pair from a complete mess of them from a bucket. Then my son who is a 10year old with autism mind you wanted to do the lazy river. Unfortunately not only do you have to use a tube at all times but anyone over 48 inches cannot be walked around by their adult parent. (Any other lazy river we have been to allows me to walk with him as he floats on a tube as he is a little uneasy on a tube) The main pool we were told we couldnât splash too much or dunk one another which was not effecting anyone else in the pool. So what do most kids do at a pool like this? My kids are not rough. Just a little playful. I have never been to such a place and I will never return.
If this wasnât enough when getting out of the main pool there was a dirty bandaid on the steps getting out...
Read moreI took my grandchildren here and it was ok. I was disappointed that they closed the waterside down at 4 and the water park was open until 7. They don't let the public in until 12 so that only gives you 4 hrs to use the slides. The lazy river was disappointing also because you have to push your way through instead of the water pushing you through ( so you could be lazy ... hence the name ) đ the snack bar prices I thought were reasonable and it's nice they have so many lifeguards . I felt comfortable with my youngest grandchild being in the kiddie pool with the lifeguards there. The employees were very nice. They have plenty of seating and loungers which was nice and a covered picnic Pavillion if you need shade . I just feel they need to keep the slides open as long as the pool is open and get more power on...
