We freeze our bread after monthly shopping trip, so "day old" bread is not an issue for our family. If you're going to eat your purchase right away, it will taste as fresh as grocery store products are.

Our family has mixed dietary needs, which causes additional expenses for groceries. Gluten-freen, Naked brand organic white bread, and Franz seeded dark bread varieties are all carried here, which allows me to purchase everything I need during one stop for great value. This shop also offers specialty grocery items like gravy mixes, noodles, Montana gift specialties, jellies, and jams. Nice!

At Franz Bakery Outlet, I refill our freezer for less than the cost of 2 loaves of gluten-free bread at the grocery store. I oftrn have extra bonus bread and treats to share with the Food Bank, friends, or even to bring home raspberry filled donuts for a Sunday morning...

Buy the fresh items as you will be happier with the quality. We purchased several items off the "day old" racks with the intent to rapidly use them. The next day many of the (unopened) items had mold. Not to beat a review when it is down but SweetHeart branded bread is no longer as good quality as it was. Lightweight and very loose bread, poor for sandwiches and tears easily when spreading peanut butter. Maybe just bad luck...

I love coming here for my bread needs, they have a great selection on what I want for an unbeatable price. I am a regular shopper of the 4/$5 & 3/$5 section which has varied items but I can almost always find what I want and I like their reward tiers:$10=1 free additional item; $15=2 free additional items;$20=3 free...
