So this happened to me yesterday, and honestly, I'm more sad than disappointed at them.
I put a mobile order for pick up: Chicken Sandwich, Medium Coke, Large Onion rings. As soon as I drove up to the second window after talking to the screen, I was stuck behind a vehicle who had pulled forward to wait on their food. So I waited for what felt like 3 minutes at first, and a nice guy came to the window and asked me again what my order was. I reminded him what it was that I ordered, and through the closed window, I could see him frantically looking into bags that had been prepared to the side. The most he could do for me was get me my coke, and that is when he hit me with it: the guys he worked with weren't getting things rights with orders and he was frustrated by this personally. I told him it was fine, but I was a bit worried for the people in the back.
The line started to grow, and I have been waiting for what was about an additional 10 minutes. During my wait, I saw one of the other workers walk to the car in front of me with two bags. It turned out to be the wrong order since they were immediately returned. A different worker showed up at the window and asked me for my order details, and that is when I whipped out my phone to show my order details (which included images and large font names). He read it and took another long while in the back. It's been more than 15 minutes since I arrived and he had handed me a bag with the sandwich and French fries, all while saying that two people had walked out and quit during this whole waiting period. I reminded him of my order once again, only to be handed a small onion ring container. At that point, it wasn't worth wqitinf anymore, so i drove on back home.
I honestly wonder if the two guys leaving involved the guy who complained about his coworkers earlier. I feel bad, but at the same time, the service was terribly slow, and the mixing up of orders is unprofessional. I hope they do better in the future, or at least get the help they need for...
Read moreWhen this location opened it was one of the best Burger King operations I'd ever visited. It stayed that way for a year or two then it slowly went down hill.
Recently, we placed an order through the app and picked it up in the drive through. The order was missing one burger and one fry which we did not realize until getting home so I had to drive back to the location. The person from the back that was making food (possibly a manager) was very nice and made the missing product quickly. While I appreciate his diligence in getting the food made, there was no since of concern from any of the employees, an apology goes a long way. Employees need to apologize (genuinely) then fix the problem. It is frustrating to have to return to a restaurant to get food that should have been included in the order in the first place. To add insult to injury, by the time I returned home, my meal was cold. In addition to having to go pick up missing food, the entire order was overall disappointing, all the food was lukewarm to the point that the cheese on the burgers was not melted. The whoppers were hastily assembled with globs of sauce in the middle of the burger and veggies falling off when opened, one even had a piece of the lettuce core or a very thick piece of lettuce in it.
We used to go to this location quite often though stopped because our last experience was terrible. That order was a few months ago, it was an order placed through the app for delivery. The order was placed at 8:27pm and the delivery driver changed several times until the order was just cancelled at 9:49pm. I called the restaurant and an employee told me the order was large (only $50) and they "freaked out" because they were about to close and didn't know what to do.
It is understandable with the labor market the way it is that staffing is short and maybe not the best talent however on the visit yesterday, there were at least five employees working and two of them seemed to be...
Read moreI never rate fast food joints because they're fast food and things will never be perfect. However this Burger King is relatively new and because of that it's the only one I ever go to which is maybe once every 4 to 6 months. Yesterday (Sunday August 7th 2022) I went in and it looked like there was 3 employees, no customers in the dine in area besides myself so I went up to the counter and waited for someone to take my order, at one point each employee saw me and made eye contact without saying a single word.
They were busy with the drive through orders so I stayed quite and patently waited, after 15 minutes no one even cared to say 1 word to me while they clearly saw me standing there.
No fuss was made but wow! I just wanted a chicken sandwich and since chick fil a was closed due to it being a Sunday I was gonna give BK a shot, bad idea I guess.
I've been to this BK before and generally things are fine and no complaints, but this really...
