My husband and I had lunch here today at the recommendation of one of his coworkers, and it was definitely the right decision. He started out with a drink called a mango Lassi it was perfectly sweet and flavorful. It was described to us by the waiter as a mango yogurt type smoothy, and that was a rather accurate description, just not as thick as a smoothy. Then we ordered chicken mo mo as an appetizer, which were small chicken dumplings that came with a chilled curry type sauce for dipping, and it was a perfect pairing flavor wise. For our entrees he ordered the butter chicken (on the menu as chicken makhani) which is something he has been wanting to try and ordered a spice level hot (he likes spicy my tummy does not) and i can even say it was delicious it had a kick too it but even with that the flavor was still good the slight sweetness in the sauce was there and not overpowered by the chili or heat of the spicy. He accompanied his meal with the chili Naan which theirs is very thin with a slight crisp or "char" to it but still pliable to use for scooping up the delicious sauce in the food and the chili wasn't too much but definitely some spice. I ordered the chicken coconut at a mild level, most of their sauces contain a tomato base, which I wasn't feeling this day, and I will say this combo was perfect. The balance between the seasoning , the coconut milk, and the tomato base was delicious. Not one flavor shone through and overpowered the other they all worked together to form a wonderful dish. Even my husband whom hates coconut, tried it and liked it. With my chicken, I opted for the garlic Naan which was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. The ambiance inside, I'm guessing, resembles the previously named establishment since it is still very oriental restaurant themed but at the same time does not feel old or run down. It has been well maintained and clean and gives a rather peaceful and serene experience. The staff was very attentive, helpful, and polite. We informed our server that we had not had Indian food before, so not sure of what the dishes were, and he was very knowledgeable and patient with giving information and making good recommendations. As we were dining, we were regularly checked on, and even I think it was the owner was making his rounds in the dining area being very personable. As far as price when we were ordering I think we were slightly concerned about the price but after ordering another meal to go and seeing the bill we realized we spent less for 3 people than we would normally for the 2 of us at a sit down restaurant and he was full ( which is a big deal he is a hearty man at 6'5 and some pounds) and I had leftovers enough to take home for another full meal. We will definitely be adding this to our lists of places to go when we go out and to recommend to others!!

10-2025 Back at it; service is great, food is great; make sure to get the garlic na'an. On the protein; the "spicy" is not too spicy if you like a little spice. The flavors all pair well together; the salad balances out the spice a little along with the rice to soak up your main course and of course the na'an. This round went with the special and the little rice desert was suble and delicious. Enjoy these family owned spots for sure. 11-2024 Now an Indian spot Flavorful food with a little group; we have a mix of things. The garlic naan was a hit; just need more of it per order. The service was good; the food options were explained to some that haven't tried Indian food and was delivered quickly on a Saturday night. Next time I'll try the butter chicken. Prices were a little high vs portion size. The place wasn't that busy for a weekend night. The prior owner had great Chinese food at a good price here; maybe the food allows the people to produce some decent flavors? 2023 The owner is back after some medical issue's...glad to see it; the food is still just as good as always and still all food made from scratch. For that reason expect to wait for your food; if you want fast food or chain places; go there but this place is legit and fresh made. You'll get value and quality at this place for sure. Please don't go on the days I go cause I don't want them to get to busy; oh wait guess that's just selfish...if you go; go during off times; (hint people of older ages eat earlier in the day)

It is nice to have found an excellent Indian restaurant in Hemet after moving from Menifee. My food was a delivery order via Grubhub. I had the Vegetables Jalfrezi “mild” and it was so amazing that there was none left over for me to take a picture to post here. A very large portion, cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and mild as I had requested. The rice that came with it was plentiful and very unique. I also had Hummus With Garlic Naan Bread, and that was excellent too—very flavourful items. All food containers were tightly wrapped in cellophane, which prevents any spills or leaks; a bright idea. Prices are very fair for the quality and quantity of food offered. Will order again and try more vegetarian items. During a more recent delivery (July 26), I had the Baingain Bharta (vegetarian), and it was simply delicious. Also, on my past two orders, I had the Everest Vegetarían Mixed Appetizer Platter, which is very tasty. Also, a side of Mango Chutney, which has a very unique flavour. During another recent delivery (July 28), I had Vegetable Samosas, which are flaky pastries filled with spiced potatoes and peas. Two come with an order, and they are large. Very tasty, especially for anyone who enjoys potatoes. I also had Peas Pulao for the first time. It was a non-spicy rice dish with nuts, raisins, and other ingredients. The portions are large enough to have food left over for another meal or several snacks.

This is a fun place! They have some classic Bollywood hits playing on the TV and we went on a Saturday night so there was live entertainment! We don’t speak the language so not sure what they were saying but it was nice to be sort of “immersed” in the culture.

This was my first Indian experience and it was very pleasant. The booths comfortably fit 4 people. It’s a small restaurant but the staff seem to work well together taking orders, serving the food, and tending tables. Throughout our visit we saw 3 different people but all were of service and though we didn’t have the same person we didn’t feel neglected.

Food: (forgive my spelling) To drink, I had a tea lemonade half-and-half. It is refreshing. It’s not sweet, but they have sugar on the table. That’s a thing. The tea doesn’t seem like a regular black tea. It almost has a spice to it? My friend and I were thinking maybe cardamom? But we weren’t sure. It was delicious.

My table ordered a variety of things. As an appetizer we got the garlic Nan and hummus. The Nan was very good! Definitely fresh not too bready/spongey. The hummus was not the best I’ve ever had, but it was solid. We had another appetizer that was like potstickers? Maybe they were called Momo? That was good. And peanut sauce with it was really good.

For my Andrey, I had the shrimp curry, a medium level spice (yellow pepper). I will say it was a bit spicy for me. I brought my leftovers home to cut with cream. I’m generally OK with certain heat but again my first time trying Indian so that was my mistake. I probably should’ve gone mild. It was very good though the flavor was full of things that I was unfamiliar with, but I could taste them and it was very good. The shrimp was cooked, right

Some other entrées at my table were the butter chicken, the healthy chicken and the lentil tomato gravy? I actually can’t remember the name of that dish. They were all very good.

I don’t know what Indian food is supposed to taste like so I can’t really speak to the authenticity of it, but it was great.

Overall, a wonderful experience and I will be returning. Next time for the lemon salmon and coconut curry. ...

If I could give this family owned restaurant more than 5 stars I definitely would ! Me and my boyfriend went yesterday for the first time and OMG ! The food, the service, the place itself is just amazing. So me and my bf went to golden moon and didn’t know that they are take out only due to Covid. So outside their place they have a stand that has their menus to look at so you can order for takeout, so me and my bf were looking but kinda disappointed that we couldn’t go in because we really want to try this place and the owner (the lady) she noticed that we were kinda bummed about not being able to go in which we didn’t know at the time. So she just looks at us and says “ok just come in, I let you two in” and we were so happy and thanked her so much for letting us in because she didn’t have to do that. We walk in and the place is just SO beautiful and clean and has like a cozy feeling inside which is so nice. So she takes our order and we get it after like 10-15 mins which is really fast and when we received our food we did NOT expect to get as much food as we got it was soooo much food for just me and my bf and it was sooooooooooooooo good ! We definitely would recommend this place to ANYONE. The food and the service was AMAZING. I wish they had their place open for dine in because it’s just an amazing place for food. The food is AMAZING and the prices for the food was cheaper than we thought. And the lady was just an AMAZING server. If you guys think about trying this place out I would definitely recommend. But remember it’s takeout only unless she decides to let you in then even better. Because she did let like two other ppl in when me and my bf were inside. I think she only lets ppl of two to go in. But anyways this place is sooooo good with good prices. Amazing Chinese food. And AMAZING dumplings and...
