Ordered for curbside and food was ready when we arrived. Out order included a side if soup we never ordered and ranch dressing in a big cup never ordered not sure if we were charged for these items as we were never given a reciept with our purchase, dissapointing to start..I ordered the chicken quesadilla and it came with beans and rice, not what I was expecting but okay. Would have preferred to choose my side options. The quesadilla had huge chunks of chicken that were over seasoned with a little bit of cheese melted in the center along with some peppers and a soggy tortilla. Very dissapointing! My husband ordered the western bacon cheeseburger combo w fries. The fries are cold and have no seasoning at all, not good. The burger was actually okay seasoned well on a fresh bun. We also each ordered a chocolate malt both came runny with little chunks of malt mix or something throughout. Neither of us ended up drinking the malts. We are bummed because we had heard that Angie's have some of the best chocolate malts around! All in all the meal was overpriced at 32.00 for food we did not enjoy. This was our first try, we will try it again because I understand that sometimes we might not like something and let it ruin our experience or that the restaraunt may be having a rough day but I'm pretty sure our review will stand. Not recommended, overpriced, bland cold half-a** food. Not made with care or good ingredients this visit! Also the server who took our phone order was kind of rude she had repeated our order incorrectly when I politely corrected her she got upset saying yeah I know that's what I said already... I was only trying to ensure we had the correct order no need to be rude and nasty with a bad attitude like that. Hopefully it's just a bad day for Angie's and in the future if or when we try again our experience...
Read moreMy family and I love this place. Angie's Diner replaced an abandoned Denny's location in the middle of town. A wise idea considering there is another Denny's location about two or three miles down the road on Florida.
Angie's decor is very greasy spoon diner. There is a counter with stainless steel seated, cushioned stools that wraps around the kitchen and there is ample dining area separated by a wall in the event either side would be hosting an event. The entryway is checkerboard tiles and then carpet into the dining area. The walls are covered in 1950s nostalgia. Have a favorite bubblegum icon and I can assure you the are on the walls of Angie's Diner. Televisions are mounted in different areas that feature MeTV or often times the news will be on in the morning.
The food? I could gush on and on about Angie's breakfast menu. Sadly, it's the only part of the menu I've ever tried. French Toast, Omelettes, and don't forget the hotcakes and skillets. The best part about breakfast here is that I don't have to settle on one thing. I've tried so many of the breakfast dishes and haven't been letdown yet.
The wait staff is very cordial and attentive. I currently have a rambunctious three year old that can't sit still for more than twenty minutes and the staff has never shown any kind of irritation towards him being less than quiet. They are always quick with a coffee refill or to help with plates. The service is very quick, too. You'd think for how fast the cooks get the orders out the food would suffer, but, not here.
They recently opened another location in East Hemet in the old Holmsby's Diner location. I can only imagine the same caliber of ambiance, hospitality and service is mirrored from...
Read moreExtremely disappointed thanksgiving dinner. Took my elderly mother to the diner for a Thanksgiving meal. I ordered the Thanksgiving special turkey dinner and my mother ordered chicken fajitas. Only 8 tables were occupied for 3 waitresses and a bus boy. Food arrived 45 min late and cold. The dinner portion was a joke. Not even a kids meal portion. Mashed potatoes was an ice cream scoop size making the dinner roll was larger in portion. 5 quarter size slices of squash. 3 round slices of turkey 2/3 smaller then a slice of bologna, 4inches wide. The stuffing was watery, bland, and texture of runny oatmeal and canned cranberry sauce. My mother's, 4strips of 4inch long with half inch thick cuts, of cold rubbery chicken fajitas served on a mountain of cold lettuce leaves. Sitting up front by the register could not flag down any employee to bring to their attention the food much less get a second cup of coffee. My meal came with apple pie. Disgusting it looked . Frozen with frost on a refrigerated plate and mushy appearance. Looked more like applesauce. They ruined my 2023 thanksgiving !!!!. I expressed disapproval with both waitresses and one who claimed to be management, Jenni. For every point I brought up she had a response that was ridiculous and beneficial to them. They did not want to hear it. I paid my bill in full. Did not need them to believing that I planned to freeload the meals. I did not add any money tip at all. Did not feel they deserved it.
Overpriced. Slow service. No hot meals. Terrible food.
I will never return to this diner. Nor will I encourage any one to dine there. Next time I will choose Denny's for holiday meals. I through away good...
