Coach Light Motel — Hotel in Hemet

This is not a RESORT NOR IS A BIG NAME FRANCHISE MOTEL.. not to mention its locates IN GOD FORSAKEN HEMET CALIFORNIA!!! Then for anyone speak on the manager who OWNS AND RUNS THIS PLACE HIMSELF, you should stop and look at all the factors to the situation. how you approach him is a but big part of how he will respond or treat you... he can be a tough guy but when you own a motel in the heart of HEMET then you have to be to deal with all the bull s* each day and night. Sometimes a family member will come out to help him then has 2 very nice and helpful ladies that do all of the rooms everyday themselves. If there is any cleaning that does not meet your expectations within reason, all you reallty have to do is respectfully ask. If they can, then they will fix, clean, or change out anything that they are able to. Keep in mind People are rude and steal So many things from these motels and therefore supplies are limited. So what do you really expect to come out of a hole in the wall place.. The manager tries his best and each and everyday will you see him walking the premises & throwing out anyone that isnt staying there out himself. Its not easy keeping the stray people away when the town is full of them. They got rid of the bed bugs, this I tell you certainly cause I am staying at the motel right now, at this very moment am laying on the bed (which by the way is very comfortable, and I get compliments on by anyone who sits or late on it) and have not been bit by anything these last two weeks that I have been here and better believe if there is ever anything around to get bit by, then it's always me that will be covered in welted bug bites.. I usually have to wear insect repellent if I go out anywhere around this town. But here, thank God I havnt had to bother at this motel. I have been in 2 different rooms, started off in 37 and then moved to a room closer to the front. I have only had to kill a couple roaches. Hemet has So many buildings, trailers, entire apt complexes with a roach problem around here. So considering it only takes one to get in someones belongings and then come into one of the rooms... the manager does a pretty good job at keep the roaches issue down to almost none. So how take a look at where your at, how much your paying and everything else before you stay somewhere to complain. Go to Palm springs if you want close...

I don't like leaving bad reviews... but this place was a dump.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a day or two to visit friends of ours while they had a room here.

The size of the room was decent. The fridge was cool. The tv was cool. The a/c worked. Looked to have a good amount of storage for bags and clothes (but no hangers). Now, the entire "look" of the place screams 'run-down', 'old', 'unkept' & 'trashy'. The sign in the front is atrocious and needs to be torn down immediately cause it reminds me of a prop that would be in a horror movie like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or something.

The bathroom was honestly humorous to look at. The toilet was not sturdy and the whole thing would shift side to side with any amount of weight on it. The shower head was cracked and constantly just fell off. The bathtub had orangey yellow stains on it. The window was covered with a metal barrier that had tiny little holes to see through (reminded me of a jail), when you looked up at the ceiling, you saw a circular light next to a spot that USED to have a light (circled spot with wires and holes popping out), there was graffiti on the walls, the floor of the shower was INSANELY SLIPPERY - seriously BE CAREFUL!!! They also have cockroaches and I guess it's been that way for a while. The playground outside is ... well... just look at the photos. I had to take one.

No idea what management is like, as I never ran into any of that during my stay. So, all I can say is what I said, which is describing MY experience as a visitor, not a tenant. Just wanted to make that clear.

& I'm not trying to bash this place, I'm not saying this place is the worst place ever or anything. I'm sure some people have and do find it to be a pleasurable experience coming here. But for me, I was not the...

For what these owners go through on a daily basis, if there was a way to rate them separately, I would give them a 9 star! They deal with the poor, and one HELL of a lot of unnecessary drama! Yet, my experience with them, for the month that I was there, was excellent. They are great people. And they treat you as you treat them. So, my experience was great!

They do have a Cockroach problem.

However, if you were to stay there, you'd know why.

It's from the slobs that come in and bring them with them.

Obviously, now, they're everywhere.

But just watch how people keep their rooms. And how they use the trash receptacles.

Most of the people there have no consideration for themselves, let alone...
