Mama Jane's Eatery — Restaurant in Hempfield Township

I order from here often and love their steak salads. This evening we decided to place a takeout order. We ordered one steak salad, chicken salad, mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders. I wanted a side of ranch with all of them and even said so with each item I ordered. I am very disappointed in the entire order. The salads that are so wonderful were nothing more than a side salad with a few fries and some meat. The chicken salad was the same way. The price that I paid for these salads angers me!!!! It’s not so much as the restaurant, but more of the employees who prepared the order. Absolutely no pride in the food they put out. I probably won’t order them again. Then the chicken tenders were missing the ranch and they gave me marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks and no ranch. The child that they were ordered for only eats ranch and I only had a little bit left at the house. Very upset and disappointed!! This was a $40 order that should have been $20...

Mama Jane’s is not all 5 stars unfortunately. The food is ALWAYS cold and several customers have complained too. the service is cheap, most of the waitresses and especially managers have a very rude attitude and issues with speaking to customers. Also! Management highly needs training of their own job because they lack professionalism, and respecting privacy of others. If you were a real manager you would understand and have common sense that you CANNOT do that and it makes YOU look bad. Another thing with management that should be addressed is the way they speak to customers. I have personally seen and have been told by many people how they are treated when they walk into the restaurant, like not feeling welcomed, no manners, and no respect. You should make your customers feel welcomed and glad to be there, not leaving upset or offended. I hope you read this and understand that things need to change for...

Very nice place to dine out... Friendly, polite, helpful staff waiters and waitresses, not long on waiting for your orders.. However my first order which was Chinken Parmesan, that came with garlic bread and salad the spaghetti had more water than sauce.. I had to have it returned as the water from the noodels was washing away my sauce like a soup.. But they took it back and brought me a new freshly made one with very little water.. The photos I am enclosing will show before and second attempt the first 2 are of the water the 3rd is the fresh one they brought me. Aside from the little flub up the food was great the sauce was great the breaded chicken breast was flavorful and moist.. It was not bland like most chicken..
