Arcelia Mexican Taqueria — Restaurant in Hempstead

This place is great. Just found it after several years of driving by it on way to vacation. Great Tacos al Carbon plate. Chicken or beef or both. Daughter loves the quesadilla plate. Tacos are good, with grilled onion and cilantro. The gorditas and sopas are wonderful but I definitely prefer the chicken on those. Son loves the beef burritos, and even he can only eat one! Every order comes with lime and salsa, green and red. The green is a jalapeno onion delight that will get your attention so go easy. The red is even more attention getting but delicious! Oh and did I mention all this comes from an old bus. Yeah. Good times and taco...

Ok Well this will be a quick one for the moment,, I will come back and post more for this outside eatery Taco Truck...I loved the clean outside area staff was very polite and attentive.... for my first visit It was Absolutely Great...I love Barrbacoa Arcelia's done it up RITE...They served I and My sister outside I think it was the owner..but do not know for a fact.. He insisted on waiting on us which is very unusual..plus THE BARRBACO WAS COOKED TO A HELL YEAH TEXAS GIRL RITE..ok said I would make it short....... If ever in HEMPSTEAD, TEXAS...

I've had a lot of Mexican food from California all the way to Texas but this by far was probably one of the worst flavor wise .. I got 2 burritos because the place was packed so I knew the food would be delicious but boy was I wrong the meat was flavorless there was an overwhelming amount of lettuce in the burrito. The rice was under cooked or old. The only thing that had flavor was the refried beans ...The customer service was ok for a food truck....Maybe this place is where the locals hang out because it's definitely...
