As I walked in, the door handle was slimy with grease. Then when I got my credit card back from the cashier it was dripping with grease... To which I went to the bathroom to wash it off and wash my hands. Then when I got in my car and opened my food bag, one of the Honey mustard sauces I asked for was opened and spilled all over the bags contents, and of course my Cajun filet biscuit sandwich wrapper was also covered in grease. Needless to say, it was gross and made a mess.
I must have been hungry and not in the mood to fight, because I just cleaned everything off and ate it anyway, after discarding the opened honey mustard. I'll admit, the chicken was on point. One of the juiciest most tender fillets I've had from a Bojangles and the size was more than satisfactory, being about twice the size of the biscuit.
I've eaten from this Bojangles many times on my trips to and from NC and VA, and haven't had this grossness issue before. I attribute it to the fact that all the workers are now wearing gloves for COVID-19 protection, which is fine but they're not changing them between touching greasy things and handling money or touching surfaces in the restaurant. Something needs to change. Those gloves and how they are currently being used are going to end to spreading more disease/gems than they end...

The spicy chicken was outstanding, but my wife and 2 year old grandson don’t eat spicy chicken nor did the order it in there child meals. That’s right. Spicy chicken doesn’t go in kids meals.
The quality assurance was a 1. Ms Janace salvaged the entire experience. And she was working the lobby. Her job was made harder by the lack of quality assurance. There were four tables with patrons including ours. 3 of the four had issues with their order. I ordered a Dt Dew and received a Dt Pepsi. That’s a pretty significant difference.
The rules placed on the food services people in this state is untenable! There was a family trying to dine with their elderly patriarch. They had to get special permission to bring a single chair to their table so they could all eat together. Ms Janace handled it like a pro but never would have had to solve this problem without rules that have nothing to do with keeping people safe.
The entire experience was frustrating. Again, the staff are out in impossible circumstances, so be nice and tell them how much you appreciate them. Also, check your bag because they seem to have a weakness in this area. And say “Hey”...
Read moreNo matter what I will always love this place of business their food is obsolete and there is no other restaurant that can mimic the taste of Bojangles! My personal favorite is bacon egg and cheese biscuits, Cajun pinto beans, The chicken Supremes, those delicious buttery biscuits, and of course the legendary sweet tea. But I can't discredit the other items these are just my all-time favorites I could eat anything from there pretty much even things I don't usually eat from other restaurants or even at home sometimes. All in all the only thing that Bojangles could work on in my hometown is the staff they have some rude individuals working sometimes but that's at every business I guess but my town has been especially bad when hiring fast food workers only because most people don't want to work in fast food...
