Dave's Pizza — Restaurant in Henderson

I don't typically give 5 stars for a pizza unless I'm in southeast Wisconsin. That's the style I grew up on and miss the most. If I didn't KNOW I was in Kentucky I could be fooled to think this is SE Wisconsin. Great crunch/chew to the crust. Looks/tastes like they use fresh (not precooked) sausage. Cheese was spot on. The only thing I would criticize, and only because it's a personal preference, is they went a little heavy on the sauce. Taste, spices were amazing. Also, they were very friendly. I always forget about this place, but it is freaking amazing. Don’t forget that you need cash or check, they do not take credit cards. But it’s worth it to stop by the ATM on the way over. Their pizza thin crust and always good. When you pick it up you’re thinking I don’t know if this is going to be enough pizza until you start eating, and then you realize exactly how many toppings come on this thing. Dave’s does a great job at making one thing and one thing only pizza! So do yourself a favor and try them...

The pizza was spectacular! I usually get a thicker crust on my pizza but Dave's only had thin crust and I wanted pizza so... Ordered medium pepperoni and medium meat pizza both were excellent. I especially enjoyed the pepperoni. The pizzas are not cut into the traditional slices more line squares about 2 inches square except for the round edges. My best advice is to give Dave's a try.
