Del Taco — Restaurant in Henderson

I love Del Taco in general, but this location is horrible. On three separate occasions they have provided less than poor service when picking up my mobile order.

The first occasion, the employee decided to get into an argument with me, and told me I could not pick up my order in the drive-thru. When I informed him that I always pick up my order in the drive-thru, and the app itself states to pick up via drive-thru. HE said it didn't matter "it was policy". I had just had a medical procedure done and was too weak to go inside, so I told him I am not coming inside. He became gruff and told me to pull around to the window. As he gave me my food, he admitted he was wrong, and thought I was a Door Dasher, despite the fact I mentioned "my mobile order" when picking up, and having mentioned the Del Taco app told me to come through the drive-thru.

The second time the employee confirmed my pick-up on the speaker and told me to drive around. There were two cars ahead of me, which took about 10 minutes to finally reach the window. When I approached the window, she told me I owed $12+ for the order. I informed her once again, I was the mobile order, and already paid. She said "oh", tapped some things on the POS and told me I would need to pull around and park. Apparently, they never queued up my order, so my food was not made while waiting. I now had to wait longer for a small easy order.

The last time, the employee started by chastising me because I had selected "pick-up in dining room" but came through the drive-thru. I checked my order confirmation on the app, and it clearly stated "drive-thru". She then started handing me several bags of food. I mentioned this wasn't my order, as I only had 4 tacos. She took the bags back, never bothering to apologize for chastising me for coming to the wrong spot when she was the one in error. She then informed me they never received my order. I showed her the order confirmation on my phone, showing this location's address, and the successful submission of my order 15 minutes ago. I even offered to show her the confirmation e-mail. She stated that it didn't matter, they didn't receive it, and there was nothing she could do, despite the fact I had been charged. She suggested ordering again, so I could be charged again, and then contacting corporate for a refund. Completely ridiculous solution, when it could have been quickly and easily solved, considering the order confirmations I was able to provide. This location stole from me once, and she wanted me to tempt it to steal from me again.

Do yourself a favor, and just go to the Taco Bell across the street. This Del Taco...

I went through the drive though had a medium sized order nobody was behind me and they asked me to pull around and park which I didn't have a problem with then they give my order to SOMBODY ELSE parked in the space next to me who had it for a solid 2 or 3 minutes when they found out they gave it to the wrong person they immediate went over to me lied and said they didn't open anything (I asked other person who had thier window down and they said they opened 1 or two items ) and then gave attitude when I asked for my food to be remade (did they forget covid is still a thing and even if it wasn't i don't appreciate eating something a stranger already touched ) they came back 5 or 6 minutes later with the same bag/food (everything was exactly were it was in the last time they tried giving it to me ) and they ended up messing up my order and forgetting 2 of my tacos and the ones they did make were basically put on the paper with a tortilla shaped on top I can say its safe to say I will not be coming back to this location and I go to del...

Only one employee who speaks and understands English today. The lady took my order and still didn't remove the lettuce and sauce from my daughter's chicken taco. I showed them they made a mistake and it needed to be remade. They said ok and apologized. Then they made me give them the wrong chicken soft taco back. I asked them if they were going to throw it away, they said yes. I said well can't I just keep it. Myself or someone in my family at home would eat it. Just my young daughter who was with me who ordered it, doesn't eat it with lettuce and sauce. They refused and made me give it to them to throw in the trash. What a waste of food. It's very sad. Any fast food restaurant I have been to they have NEVER asked for the incorrect order food back. Then they proceeded to be caddy and giggle and laugh. Maybe that's why the order was messed up in the first place or the blatant language barrier. The taco's were also poorly put together and the meat tasted old. Wasted my money and my time.
