Archer + Jane — Local services in Henderson

This is such a hidden gem and beats big name children consignment stores 100%! Everything here is clean and typically brand name!

I totally understand that to sell to a consignment store that is so highly selective is difficult, but I will say I was a little disappointed in my last drop. The first few sells I had here, I received what I felt like was a completely fair and appropriate price! The last sell I made (with brand new, brand name clothing/ never used toys - Disney items), I was disappointed with. I completely understand that cost of living has increased and in order for this store to keep prices low, they have to buy it low as well. However, when browsing around, I did notice some clothing items that I would have purchased previously have also seemingly gone up in price as well.

Overall, I will 100% continue shopping here and supporting local. I just think I may be a little more selective myself in what I send here to sell and try to sell some items on my own first.

It’s a cute little shop! I had a lovely exchange with the lady about credit exchange with my items. ❤️ She was very kind and helpful.

It was unfortunate was not able to get rid of my cradle due to not having the original mattress. I get it because it would sell better. I did have the other mattress for the same company (no pee stains) however they don’t accept mattresses that was not the original with the brand she said. Just something to look out for when selling cradles or bassinets.

I did pre message them about the cradle and she said bring it in, I kind of wished if I was pre notified that they did not want it because it did not have original mattress. Especially , dragging it out from my car and back. It’s okay though! It was an excuse to finally see the store haha 😅❤️

Hopefully I can find somewhere that will accept it because I don’t want it to go to the dump. 🤍

She did accept my other item. She told me someone was looking for one and I was so excited that it was going to a new home. Plus, I used my credit for some cute Maternity pants! I was super surprised how reasonably priced the maternity clothes were! I am 100% coming back to buy more ounce I get more far along in my pregnancy! 😊

If you haven’t been to Archer and Jane yet- make the trip! I’ve always been a fan of thrifting and this is my go-to place post children. Just the other day I was telling my own parents about all the cute stuff I gave thifted for my kids (and myself!) and my dad asked when I had the time to do that… I explained Archer and Jane to him and he exclaimed that it’s a genius business model! He is right!

They will literally do the shopping for you! You can join their lives and tell them why items or sizes you’re looking for you they’ll walking you around the store all from your phone/home. You can buy online then pick up curbside. Such a unique experience and so easy for busy parents.
