If you’re on the hunt for the best BBQ in Henderson—or honestly, the best BBQ in all of Las Vegas—look no further than Jesse Ray's BBQ on Boulder Highway! As a local who loves great barbecue, I couldn't be happier that they’ve opened a location right here in Henderson. This place is an absolute gem, and it's exactly what our area needed!
From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with the mouthwatering aroma of smoked meats that instantly tells you you’re in for something special. The menu is a BBQ lover’s dream come true. From tender brisket to juicy pulled pork, and everything in between, every item is smoked to perfection, packed with flavor, and cooked with love. The portions are HUGE, so you definitely get your money’s worth—and then some! Their ribs are fall-off-the-bone amazing, the smoked chicken is perfectly moist, and the burnt ends? Don’t even get me started—they're pure smoky, caramelized bliss!
One thing you absolutely can’t miss is their smoked mac and cheese. I’ve had my fair share of mac and cheese across several states, and I can confidently say that Jesse Ray's has the best! It’s creamy, cheesy, and has that perfect touch of smoky goodness that takes it to a whole new level. It’s the kind of dish that keeps you coming back for more.
The friendly staff and laid-back atmosphere make it a great spot to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Whether you're a Henderson local or a visitor looking to venture off the Las Vegas Strip for some incredible BBQ, Jesse Ray's BBQ is the place to be. This isn’t just another BBQ joint—it’s a destination. They’ve mastered the art of BBQ, and it shows in every bite.
If you're from out of town and want to experience a local favorite that serves up authentic, finger-licking BBQ, this is it. Skip the Strip and head to Boulder Highway for a real taste of Vegas. Jesse Ray's BBQ is where you’ll find the best smoked meats, the best sides, and an unbeatable BBQ experience. Trust me, one visit, and you’ll...
Read moreI was going to the location on South Valley View for years , so sad it burnt down and it was about 2 miles or so from my house. I went to a friends retirement party the other day in Henderson and I left a few minutes early just to come here and pick up some of my favorite bbq in town before you closed . I've never been to this location and when they had the Yelp event , I didn't get to come.
I got my favorite go to , to go , the House of 3 Sandwich , ( Brisket , Pulled Pork , and a Hot Link. ) The brisket this time was better than the last time I had it , it was spot on ! I'm a big pulled pork guy and you guys know how to make it right. The hot link was cook just right with that little snap of the skin. It was so good to have my favorite bbq sandwich again. I like to use a little of different sauces for different things. You have to use the Carolina Vinegar Sauce for the pulled pork , I'm from South Carolina. The brisket is good with no sauce and a little dip in the God Sauce sometimes. The hot link is the God Sauce.
Of course they have the Alabama White Sauce which is good too , Fallen Angel Hot Sauce and a Mustard Sauce. All are good and you should try each one on different meats to see which ones you like paired together. I didn't get any sides this time , but I usually like to get the Smoked Mashed Potatoes. They are really good , I just wish the container was a little bigger. Also , the one negative is they forgot to put slaw on my sandwich. I forgive you though. I know it was a few minutes before closing and they were probably in a rush. Next time though I will check for my slaw.
Anyway , I wish you much success in your new location and hopefully one day you will open back a westside location so I don't have to drive across town for some of my favorite bbq. I have a YouTube short of your old location on my channel , Tips From A Bellman , and I need to do one of this...
Read moreSix of us drove 40 minutes to try Jessie Rae’s new location. Our husbands love trying new BBQ places so they were looking forward to it. Walking in we saw that 2 people were at a table against the front windows, the rest of the dining area empty. They have the front area of their order line roped off with menu boards hanging from the ceiling along the side of the line, making it difficult to see all menus. Part of our party stepped back outside of the order line to view the menus. Yelling from the food prep area a girl working there yelled, to place an order step inside the roped off area. After an additional minute of looking to make a decision on what to order she again yelled, if you want to order you need to be inside the roped off area. A person in our party replied that part of our party was in line but some were trying to see the menus. The girl working responded with, then you can have a seat. Her tone was anything but nice, welcoming or friendly, in fact quite the opposite. With most of our party owning businesses and working in customer service we had a quick discussion and decided to leave. As we were walking out she then said, have a good night and Happy New Year, sarcasm, not genuine, of course. We go out to eat a lot. Typically people are so friendly so this was a huge disappointment. We made the 10 minute drive to Fox’s, which we have been to before. Always friendly and good food! It is unfortunate that one employee, with a horrible attitude, leaves a bad taste in your mouth before you even...
