I placed an order at the Drive Thru at KFC in Henderson, NC on 04/01/2023 at 2:15 pm. The young man that took my order was very pleasant and helpful. After receiving my order I checked my receipt and made sure the order was correct. An older woman came to the window and was unprofessional and rude. She informed me that something was running because I was still at the Drive Thru. I was checking my order and receipt to make sure everything was ok before leaving which was explained to her. Please take into account there was no other cars behind me and it only took 2 minutes. With a hateful tone of voice she told me to pull around if I wanted to check my order and receipt. This is very unprofessional because if I would have pulled off and then discovered my order was incorrect this would have been a bigger issue because I could have easily been accused of hiding food. Read moreWorst KFC experience ever. I have been to many KFC's over the years and this KFC is by far the worst KFC that I have visited. I ordered a Drumstick & Thigh 2 piece combo and I don't know what the piece that I received that was supposed to be a thigh was but it looked like no thigh that I have seen before (not to mention that the biscuit that came with the meal was undercooked). When I asked the manager what this piece was, she was rude and dismissive. Far from being the customer is always right, in this case the customer is not worthy of any consideration. Rather than trying to satisfy my complaint, I was told that I "did not know what I was talking about". I hope that this is not indicative of KFC's managerial training and quality control but is limited to a particular KFC location. Read moreThis KFC location is in serious need of better training and staffing. When I went to pick up food for my mother, the drive-thru was completely closed due to being understaffed, which was already a bad sign. Inside, things weren’t much better—everyone except the manager seemed completely lost.
The cashier struggled with every transaction and even forgot to give someone their change, needing constant help just to do basic tasks. In the kitchen, there were only two workers, and one of them had trouble remembering orders. The entire experience felt chaotic and unorganized.
To top it all off, my mother specifically ordered dark meat, and instead of getting what she asked for, they gave her three breast pieces. How do you mix that up? Between the lack of training, poor service, and incorrect orders, this location needs serious improvement.
