Terribly disappointed.
Went here on a Saturday evening with a friend after an event downtown, this restaurant is only 2 minutes from my house so we decided to try it on the way home. I had been craving chicken Cordon bleu probably since I left NY in 2016, itâs so hard to find here in Vegas and in my opinion itâs an old school menu item.
The waitress was attentive, the atmosphere is not too appealing as it kind of looks like a deli, the door was wide open and it was about 80° which Iâm not particularly a fan of while dining, but hey I was finally getting my Cordon blue (or so I thought). The salad they give you with the meal is mediocre, my cordon blue was shredded chicken with what looked like deli meat ham thrown in some cheese and baked in a ramekin dish topped with breadcrumbs, and some being so loose I inhaled quite a few and had to cough them out. The mashed potatoes which is one of the sides offered were instant potatoes and completely inedible, they had absolutely no flavor or anything. The chicken dish itself had some flavor, but overall was disappointing. My friend enjoyed her meal (Queen Chicken), at least she said she did.
When I paid I put the amount of the check and more cash for change, but it wasnât obvious to the server so I felt strong armed into giving a heavy handed tip. Since I wanted to get the heck out if there after a long day, I just left it alone, especially since I knew Iâd never come back and Iâd be telling all my neighbors 2 minutes away about the instant potatoes. Went home and ordered a margarita pizza from The Cheesecake Factory to satisfy me, since I waited all day to eat and this restaurant just didnât satisfy.
I see some old reviews of what looks like chicken Cordon bleu, and it looks like a wrapped chicken breast, but I donât think I even got the shredded version of a whole breast. I hate leaving reviews, but this restaurant was a complete miss for me. They do serve cold Coca Cola bottled products for those like me concerned about restaurants cleaning the fountain the way they should. So I guess that is where the mandatory one...
Read moreLe petite prince is a small, unassuming little French cafe on pecos. I kept passing this place, wondering what it was, and finally gave it a try. I'm so sad I took so long to come into this little gem! Le petite prince is the cutest French bistro with friendly staff and the besttt pistachio coffee! The environment makes this bistro the perfect place for anything. It's simple but feels elevated because of the French decor and table settings. But at the same time it's family owned and operated! I love supporting local, especially when it's THIS good. My friend and I ordered: Pistachio coffee, iced (5/5): comes with cream and sugar on the side. But it doesn't need any sugar to be sweet! Added just a touch of cream and it was perfect. Beef bourginoun (5/5): hefty and hearty, great portion size and super flavorful! Salmon avocado crepe (2.5/5) personally was not my favorite, I didn't realize it would be so much cheese. This was the first time I had a savory crepe, and didn't know what to expect. I may not have liked this item, but they have lots of other options that I'm...
Read moreLe Petit Prince is a hidden gem that brings a little slice of Paris to Henderson! I visited with my family, and we were instantly charmed by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The French dĂ©cor, complete with a red âOUVERTâ sign and soft music, set the perfect bistro vibe.
Now, the foodâabsolutely superbe! We started with the Eggs Mayo, which were creamy, tangy, and elevated by fresh herbs. The Beef Bourguignon was the starâslow-cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with rich flavor. My quiche, served with a crisp side salad, was a perfect balance of buttery crust and fluffy filling. Of course, we couldnât skip the banana Nutella crĂȘpe for dessertâlight, sweet, and beautifully presented with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Service was warm and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
If youâre looking for a relaxed, authentic French experience with top-notch food and charming service, Le Petit Prince is a must-visit. Weâll definitely be backâthere are too many crĂȘpes left to...
