This Olive Garden location is still new, having only opened a few months ago, but you wouldn’t know it by the service you receive. Christina, in particular, brings an energy and professionalism that sets the tone for the entire restaurant. She wears two hats with remarkable grace: not only does she serve her guests at the bar, but she also crafts every single drink for the entire restaurant. That level of responsibility alone speaks volumes about her skill and work ethic, yet she handles it all seamlessly, without ever letting the quality of her service slip.
Christina is the kind of server and bartender who makes you feel like more than just another table. She’s warm, engaging, and genuinely fun to interact with. There’s never a hint of forced friendliness—she has an effortless way of connecting with people that feels authentic and refreshing. She’s attentive and quick to notice when you need something, but never hovers or interrupts. It’s a perfect balance that makes the whole dining experience comfortable and enjoyable.
On top of that, she’s incredibly accommodating. Between being a naturally picky eater and having specific dietary requirements, I know I can sometimes be a challenge as a guest. Christina is always willing to go the extra mile to see if my unusual requests can be met, and she never makes me feel like a burden for asking. That kind of patience and flexibility is rare, and it makes a huge difference in how welcoming and personalized the experience feels.
There’s something timeless about the way Christina approaches her work. Like the best bartenders throughout the years, she does more than just mix drinks and take orders. She listens, engages, and creates a space where guests can relax and leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived. It’s this mix of skill, heart, and authenticity that makes time spent at the bar such a uniquely enjoyable experience.
What’s especially remarkable is how she does it all while constantly on the move. At any given moment, Christina is juggling multiple tasks: mixing drinks, serving food, chatting with guests, and somehow managing to keep the entire bar running smoothly. You can see how much effort she puts in every shift, yet she always does it with a smile. Sometimes you’ll even catch her laughing, dancing, or quietly singing to herself while she works. It turns what could be a chaotic environment into something surprisingly fun to watch. In a way, she provides not just excellent service, but a bit of entertainment too.
Christina truly embodies Olive Garden’s classic motto, “When you’re here, you’re family.” She makes every guest feel welcome, valued, and cared for in a way that turns a simple meal into a memorable experience. The next time you visit this location, I highly recommend sitting at the bar. You’ll not only enjoy great food and drinks, but also get to witness the incredible energy and care Christina brings to her work. She is, without a doubt, one of the reasons this Olive Garden stands out. In a world where great service can be hard to find, Christina is a reminder of how much a single person’s dedication and personality can elevate an entire...
Read moreOne star for the beautiful atmosphere of this new Olive Garden and one star for SOME of the friendly hostesses. Tried to visit today at opening time (11AM). Was in line with about 20 other people waiting to check in when the doors were open. Hostesses were clearly overwhelmed by the amount of people and weren't paying attention to those of us who had been waiting to give our names vs. new walk ins coming in to give their names. My party of six (4 adults and 2 toddlers) were put on the list, but never given a time frame, so we assumed they were just figuring out where to seat us as I thought they'd have to put two tables together or something of the sort. The original line of people was quickly seated with the exception of my party. More and more walks in came and were seated, so after about five tables being sat (one of which was a party of four that arrived after us), my father asked to make sure our name was on their waitlist (I know computers fail at times and we thought maybe it got deleted or something on accident), the hostess assured us we were on their list and even verified our name and party size. Still didn't get an estimated wait time at this point, so again we thought they must be putting our table together. Ten more minutes go by and a few more tables were seated, but then the hosts started telling new walk ins that it would be about a 5-10 wait time. By this point it was 11:25 and we had been trying to entertain two toddlers and keep them from climbing the waiting benches/running around the building and we were all getting a little frustrated over what could be taking so long when we were literally there right at opening. I asked the hostess what our wait time was and she looked at her tablet and told me "Oh it looks like it says 40-50 minutes right now". WHAT!? How is that even possible? We obviously were not waiting that long to sit and eat. We left very frustrated, hungry, and disappointed. The younger teen-aged hostesses were all very nice and apologetic, but it still doesn't dismiss the clear lack of communication and planning on their end. The one older adult brunette hostess or even manager maybe (I didn't see her name, but she had a lot of pins on her blazer) was completely miserable looking from the moment we walked in. Didn't smile a single time to any customer and was snippy towards her fellow employees. We were excited to have an Olive Garden closer to home, but this experience pushed us back to the Sunset location where we arrived and got seated promptly and had great service with very friendly staff from the hostess stand all the way up...
Read moreMy own worst nightmares couldn't come up with this Olive Garden experience. I am a Henderson local, and our family has been anticipating this location opening up since we first saw the building process. There is a generous amount of grace that we cam extend when a new restaurant is in its beginning stages of opening. We expected maybe a couple hiccups, however, from start to finish it was a dumpster fire.
What went well: The food and beverages were delicious. We were seated at the exact time that we were told our wait would be. The hostess at the front was friendly and warm.
What went bad: Literally everything else. Upon being seated, a waitress greeted us and stated that she was covering for our waiter temporarily and asked to get our drink orders. She struggled to find the beverages we wanted on the tablet and then told us that two of our drinks were not available. She struggled to remedy to situation and we finally just chose other drinks. Our waiter finally came by, did not introduce himself, stood around our table, and then asked if we wanted to order anything. We ordered. He never once asked us how we were doing, if we wanted drink refills, more water, and said that breadsticks were unavailable at the moment. My husband watched as baskets of breadsticks were carried to other tables. We received our food, once again no check ins from our waiter. We finally got one basket of breadsticks after we had begun our entrees. Our waiter failed to ask if we wanted to order anything else and our water glasses had been sitting empty for a while. After we finished our meal, we went to pay on the tablet and saw several added items to our bill that we did not order. We tracked down our waiter and asked him to remove the items. He was confused and then went to take care of it. After a little while, we finally got the check sorted out.
The overall vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant was utter chaos. Things dropping constantly, flustered wait staff, and loud noises. This is either the result of poor management or just clearly unqualified staff. We may not be returning ever or at least for a long time, which is a disappointment, considering we would love to have a reliable Olive Garden...
