PKWY Tavern Volunteer — Restaurant in Henderson

It is a newly opened Tavern. With that into consideration I give it a hopeful 4/5. Certainly room to improve. I came in with my co worker, sat at the bar. Another couple came in after me sat on the left side. They got greeted and drinks first. No worries, however the worker walked past me and I didn’t get helped for another 5 minutes or so. When someone asked me if they could help me I stated I just wanted a water and an appetizer, they stated they could get me the drink but the bartender would take my food order. I had already gambled $30 and haven’t even gotten a drink! That’s another wait time. This worker basically helped me out and served me the whole time. My food seemed light for nine dollars. A couple fries and literally seven mini corn dogs. I don’t like mustard at all. I asked for hot sauce and BBQ sauce the worker said they could do it but it’s an extra charge. That’s fine? That’s a pet peeve of mine, it’s like you judge someone like they can’t pay an extra $0.50 or whatever it is. Like I just lost $30 bucks. Money ain’t nothing but a thing. Anyways I ended up leaving happy and full of food. Rome is my favorite...

The people that work here are 9 out of 10 wonderful people. It's never crowded when I go, but I hear it going off on Friday, Saturday, and sometimes on Sundays. I think they have beer pong tournaments. The 2 things I've ordered here were both very disappointing. But I see a lot of repeat customers. I think that the pizza is probably really good?I see a lot of those ordered. The chicken fingers I hear are really good, too. I don't eat any red meat, chicken, lamb, or pork. I only eat seafood so I couldn't tell you about the other entrees. But definitely, I wouldn't recommend any of the seafood. Considering that I live right across the street, if these slots were looser, I would be a staple in that establishment on a semi daily basis. Alas, I don't ever walk away with profits, so it's not exciting. And it's usually several months before I bother trying again. They bar slots have a minimum bet of 25 cents. Which wouldn't be a problem if they paid out every once in a while? I see other people win occasionally. So maybe i'm just not jiving...

From the moment I walked into the bar, Jen greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel right at home. Her knowledge of the gaming options available was impressive and she was more than happy to answer any questions I had about the different games.

Not only is Jen knowledgeable about gaming, but she's also a master of the draft beer offerings at PKWY Tavern. She took the time to explain the different types of beers available, and made recommendations based on my preferences.

But what really sets Jen apart is her exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I was enjoying my experience at PKWY Tavern. She consistently checked in with me to see if I needed anything else and made sure my drink was always full. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made my visit special.
