The good- the light display was very pretty and fun. The bad - there are no signs telling where to turn and the access street is VERY poorly lit. People were driving through the casino parking lots, up and down the surrounding streets, backing up in traffic trying to locate the entrance. It was VERY dangerous and stressful. The workers for the venue were mostly on their phones despite the chaos...actually saw 3 workers with faces in phones not paying any attention to the flow or problems. When we mentioned the issues we had just trying to find the venue entrance to the ticket taker we received a, " I just work here." type of response. Prior to our departure for the show, I had tried to look up a map indicating where the entrance was. The map feature on my phone only indicated the casino area with no exact location for the entrance. There were no maps or directions available on the website for Illumination. The accompanying music was OK but the selected "Announcer" or DJ was truly OBNOXIOUS. I would have preferred NO announcer to the imbecile chosen to speak. The price mark was OK, not too much. Had I spent more, I'd be angry. Bottom line: The amount of stress created by the chaos and confusion of just trying to enter the venue makes the entire experience considerably less enjoyable. Lesson learned. We...
Read moreI absolutely recommend this experience! If you're local to Vegas, you know that Glittering Lights was the only big light experience like this in town for a long time. The waits there were insane. World of Illumination does it right!
We bought our ticket online a few days before the event to ensure smooth sailing and added on the 3d glasses pack. Tickets were $50 per car, and the glasses were $10 for a 4 pack. It was at the M, which is very close to me, so navigating to it was a snap. They have lines and rows for cars and time how many get through in which lane at a given time. It was very well laid out and well organized. We waited maybe 15 minutes at most to get through the snaking line, into a lane, and then into the show. You tune your radio to a certain station, and the lights and everything are synched up.
It was so much fun and I think it was very much worth it. Me and 3 friends went in 1 car and split between us it was totally affordable. It was also about a 20-minute experience with so many cool lights and creative things. I would love to make this an...
Read moreFirst the window time seems to be useless, i thought its something you have to be there around your time slot you picked. But we got there and the line is Very Very Very long but it moved fast so thats good.
But theres so many cars that you cant take a good video infront of you due to so many cars were going in unless you slow down and stop and let the car in from of you to go ahead and then take videos without bumper to bumper car infront of you.
But over all it was a nice drive thru for the kids and adults that likes light show.
I wished the decorated more and had more lights to fill the empty area ive noticed theres more space to put lights or decorations and towards the end i felt like they got lazy or sloppy because the decorations was not as great i was expecting more extravagant as you left the drive thru.
So hopefully next year will be more GRAND more lights more decorations.
Im not sure if i misread it shouldnt there be a hot cocoa stall? Anyways looking forward for a greater light...
