Must say I was not impressed. I have reviewed many establishments since the Covid-19 restrictions have been put into place. Some are simple mom and pop and some are chain and some are places like this. The one thing that a staff must strive for is seamless service. Having worked in the restaurant industry before I understand that things can get hectic fast, it is how the staff work together to pull things back and move forward that make the difference. If you do this correctly, the customers should not even know it. This was not the case for my visit. There were plenty of staff around, yet it took ten minutes to even be acknowledged after being seated. I ordered iced tea and fifteen minutes went by and still no tea. I couldn't imagine how long it would take to place my order and then get it. Back to the number of staff. With all the employees running around, but mostly hanging out behind the bar and visiting, I would think that someone could have brought me my tea and took my order. As I had not gotten the chance to order any food, I cought the attention of one of the staff and told them I was leaving and nevermind sending over anyone to take my order. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. It really says something about small business when they seem to be able to greet you, take and deliver your drink order, then your food order and get it to your table in a timely manner, and with less staff. Not sure who is managing this establishment, but in my opinion, it...
Read moreI am very pleased with the breakfast I had. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner which is not a problem since there are other restaurants in the M casino to choose from for lunch dining. The place doesnât take reservations even for a large group. The dining area is very open - dark glass walls to separate it from the other space on either side and very high ceiling- the entrance faces the hall that splits off from the hotel lobby and the other side has bottom to ceiling glass wall facing the pool and has view of the mountain. the tables are spaced enough that you can have a good conversation going, Comfortable spacing of tables. There is outside seating overlooking the pool. I ordered coffee (good coffee from Boydâs Seattle) and hueves rancheros. Very filling- tortilla layered with refried beans, chunky tomato salsa , peppers, fried eggs, large jalapeño pepper on top and a side of sour cream. Very flavorful and just the right...
